Peters Faces Resistance

Level 24 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

On the outer table, Krisztian Gyorgyi raised to 85,000 and was called by David Peters in the small blind and Josip Simunic in the big blind. All it took for the Hungarian was a continuation bet on the {10-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} flop and that sent the cards of Peters and Simunic into the muck.

Honglin Jiang raised to 70,000 from the cutoff and Peters called on the button. The board of {J-Spades}{10-Spades}{5-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{9-Clubs} was checked through entirely and Jiang announced a five, turned over {A-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} and won the pot.

Peters made it 70,000 to go from the cutoff and Nicolas Dumont defended the big blind. There was no betting action on the {8-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{5-Hearts} flop and the {J-Spades} turn. Dumont bet the {10-Spades} river for 110,000 and Peters folded.

One hand later, Peters raised to 70,000 and Dumont three-bet to 230,000 in the small blind to force a fold from Peters.
