Chidwick Takes From Sammartino

Level 14 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

In a three-bet pot to the {Q-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} flop, Dario Sammartino in the small blind bet 18,000 and Stephen Chidwick on the button called. The {A-Diamonds} fell on the turn and Sammartino fired a second barrel for 38,000, which Chidwick also called.

Sammartino then let his shot clock run down to zero on the {J-Spades} river before opting to check, Chidwick checked behind and was shown the {5-Spades}{3-Spades} by Sammartino. Chidwick had that beat with {Q-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} and raked in the pot.

Sammartino Doubles Through Hasson

Level 14 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

On a {2-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{5-Diamonds} flop with around 30,000 in the middle, Dario Sammartino checked to Gary Hasson who bet 15,500. Sammartino check-raised all in for 85,000 and Hasson called.

Dario Sammartino: {j-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}
Gary Hasson: {9-Clubs}{8-Clubs}

Hasson had made a good call with top pair, and was ahead of the flush draw of Sammartino. The turn was the {3-Clubs} but the river {3-Diamonds} completed the Italian's flush and he doubled up.

On the heads-up flop of {5-Spades}{4-Spades}{3-Hearts}, Bahram Chobineh bet 20,000 in the hijack and Dan Smith in the cutoff opted to use one time bank before announcing "all in for 59,000." Chobineh snap-called and the cards were turned over.

"Great playing with you," Chobineh said in table chat and Smith replied with a "it was gun, good luck everyone."

Kisacikoglu Fades a Lot of Outs

Level 15 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

Gary Hasson just won a pot off Stephen Chidwick without showdown and raised again the next hand to 12,000. Orpen Kisacikoglu on the button three-bet to 32,000 and Hasson glanced over to the other side of the table before making the call. Down to Three Tables After Zinno Elimination; Mandic Doubles

Level 15 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

Filipe Oliveira opened and Anthony Zinno three-bet all in. Joao Vieira four-bet all in over the top and Oliveira folded.

Zinno held {a-}{5-} and Vieira {10-}{10-}. A ten on the flop gave Vieira a commanding lead, and Zinno was eliminated. Dealers were instructed to hold up at the end of the hand as play redrew around three tables, but there was still time for another big double for Goran Mandic.

He got his last 178,000 in the middle with {k-Spades}{k-Hearts} against the {j-Clubs}{j-Spades} of Mustapha Kanit.

The board ran out {2-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{10-Spades}{8-Diamonds} and Mandic doubled up.
