Dany Chidiac was eliminated only 15 minutes into the day and it was Ronald Keijzer that claimed the chips. According to Keijzer, he check-called the flop and hey got it in after the turn with Keijzer holding a straight and clubs nut flush draw, while Chidiac had two pair and an open-ender.
Over on table two, the action was also quite explosive. With around 5,000 in the middle and the flop showing 
, Mohamed Benih Benmetir bet 5,000 and Pim van Holsteyn raised the pot. Benmetir moved all in and van Holsteyn called.
