Triple Knockout for Garcia

Level 10 : 1,000/2,000, 0 ante
Jan-Peter Jachtmann
Jan-Peter Jachtmann

On the flop of {J-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} there were already two all in triangles in front of Balint Sebestyen and Jan-Peter Jachtmann, who had moved all in for 12,500. Cord Garcia called and exposed his cards already while Max Silver was still to act with very few chips. The floor was called and Silver nodded "it's okay, I call."

Balint Sebestyen: {A-Spades}{Q-Hearts}{J-Spades}{3-Diamonds}
Jan-Peter Jachtmann: {10-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{9-Spades}{6-Spades}
Max Silver: {K-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{3-Clubs}
Cord Garcia: {9-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{X-}

The {10-Spades} turn and {3-Spades} river failed to improve either of the players at risk and Garcia scored the triple knockout.

Juha Helppi
Juha Helppi

Alex Komaromi, Thomas Cazayous and Eelis Parssinen have been eliminated, the latter sent his chips over to Jean-Noel Thorel. Another big name almost experienced the same fate, but Juha Helppi doubled through Krzysztof Magott.

Helppi was all in after a flop of {7-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} and showed the {A-Hearts}{K-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}. Magott had the {K-Clubs}{K-Spades}{Q-Spades}{9-Hearts} and the {A-Diamonds} turn and {8-Spades} river gave Helppi a winning flush.

There are only 31 players remaining.

Chidwick and Jouhkimainen No More

Level 10 : 1,000/2,000, 0 ante

In a battle big blind versus under the gun, Joni Jouhkimainen checked over to Felix Stephensen with the flop showing {8-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{6-Clubs}. Stephensen bet 3,500 and Jouhkimainen check-raised for the size of the pot, then called the shove of Stephensen.

Joni Jouhkimainen: {10-Spades}{8-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}
Felix Stephensen: {A-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{6-Spades}

The {J-Diamonds} turn and {K-Hearts} river failed to improve Jouhkimainen and he joined the rail, minutes after Stephen Chidwick had been eliminated.

Sotiriadis Doubles Through Pfeiffer

Level 11 : 1,000/2,500, 0 ante

With 35,000 in the middle and the turn showing {Q-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{9-Hearts}, Panagiotis Sotiriadis checked and Dominik Pfeiffer bet 16,000. Sotiriadis check-raised all in for 61,000 and Pfeiffer gave it some thought before calling.

Panagiotis Sotiriadis: {K-Clubs}{J-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{9-Spades}
Dominik Pfeiffer: {Q-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}

The {K-Hearts} on the river changed nothing whatsoever and Sotiriadis doubled.

Shak and Tsang Chip Up

Level 11 : 1,000/2,500, 0 ante

Dan Shak limped in and Samuli Sipila raised to 11,000 in the cutoff. Alexander Petersen called on the button, as did Ronald Keijzer in the small blind and Cary Katz in the big blind. Shak also came along for the ride and the flop fell {9-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}. Action checked to Shak, who bet the pot for 55,000. All opponents folded and Shak flashed {10-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{6-Hearts} for top set with the words "I don't want to see any more cards."

Norbert Szecsi raised to 6,000 from under the gun and Anson Tsang called from two seats over, Alex Lindop filled up out of the big blind. The flop brought {9-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{2-Spades} and a bet of 20,000 by Tsang won the pot uncontested.

Chidiac Eliminated by Cahill

Dany Chidiac
Dany Chidiac

Dany Chidiac and Seamus Cahill invested 11,000 each to see a flop of {Q-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} and Chidiac moved all in for his last 24,000, Cahill quickly called.

Dany Chidiac: {A-Clubs}{J-Hearts}{10-Spades}{3-Diamonds}
Seamus Cahill: {K-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}

Chidiac had an open-ended straight draw but some of outs were covered by the flush draw of Cahill. The {9-Clubs} turn and {7-Clubs} river failed to improve Chidiac and Cahill won the pot with trips sevens, the Irishman jumped above half a million in chips.

Petersen Gives it to Katz; Takes Out Helppi

Level 11 : 1,000/2,500, 0 ante
Juha Helppi
Juha Helppi

A big pot was brewing over on table one and Cary Katz had almost all of his chips already in the middle against Alexander Petersen. They checked the {Q-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{K-Clubs}{2-Clubs} river and Katz showed {K-Spades}{Q-Spades}{9-Spades}{6-Clubs} for top two pair, Petersen mucked a missed draw.

Soon after, Petersen got involved into the action again and faced Juha Helppi, who had three-bet preflop and then jammed the {10-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{2-Clubs} flop for 25,500. Petersen quickly called and the cards were tabled.

Juha Helppi: {K-Clubs}{K-Spades}{10-Spades}{9-Clubs}
Alexander Petersen: {A-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}

"You thought this flop was much better for you," Petersen remarked and Helppi nodded. The {Q-Diamonds} turn was a blank, but Petersen got there with the {Q-Clubs} river for the nut flush to eliminate Helppi.
