Salter Takes the Lead

Level 27 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

On the tail end of a big pot between Jack Salter and Leonardo Patacconi, the completed board showed {A-Hearts}{6-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{3-Clubs} and Salter bet 855,000 into a pot of more than 1.5 million. Patacconi gave it some thought and eventually called, then mucked when he was shown the {A-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds}.

Preflop, Salter had raised to 125,000 and Patacconi three-bet to 400,000, which Salter called. Both checked the flop and then Salter bet the turn for 375,000 and fired the river.

"You would have lost more if I had raised preflop," Salter added while dragging in the pot.

Level 27 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Matthias Tikerpe
Matthias Tikerpe

Matthias Tikerpe moved all in for 470,000 and Milad Oghabian from one seat over asked for a count, then reshoved to isolate successfully.

Matthias Tikerpe: {5-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}
Milad Oghabian: {10-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}

Both suits were covered by Oghabian with the superior pocket pair, and the board of {K-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{K-Spades}{8-Hearts} provided no help for the Estonian, who departed in 23rd place for €15,100.

Savinelli Doubles as [Removed:290] Left With One Single Chip

Level 26 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

After the action folded around to Carlo Savinelli in the cutoff, he moved all in. Two folds later and [Removed:289] was the only player left with a decision to make. He thought for a while and had the clocked called on him. Once the tournament director informed him he had 30 seconds left to act, he sheepishly made the call.

Carlo Savinelli: {a-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}
[Removed:289]:{a-Spades}{10-Spades}

Board: {4-Spades}{8-Spades}{6-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{7-Clubs}

Savinelli had [Removed:290]'s hand dominated, and the board kept it that way to secure Savinelli a full double up.

After the chip counts were confirmed [Removed:290] was left with just one single green 25k chip, enough for one small blind, which he immediately put to use in the next hand.

Brian Kaufman raised, and Guoliang Wei moved all in from the button before Kaufman folded. Wei then had a showdown with [Removed:290] for the side pot. Wei tabled {a-Spades}{q-Diamonds}, and [Removed:290] showed {3-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}. The board came down {4-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{9-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{9-Spades} to give [Removed:290] a full house and his 25,000 stack was increased to 150,000 as the players went on break.
