Leow Taken Out By Pollak

Level 14 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Ramin Hajiyev and Ivan Leow
Ramin Hajiyev and Ivan Leow

Ivan Leow raised from the cutoff, and Benjamin Pollak jammed on him from the big blind. Leow snap-called and was ahead.

Ivan Leow: {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds}
Benjamin Pollak: {a-Clubs}{3-Clubs}

Board: {a-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{k-Spades}

Pollak came from behind to hit two pair on the flop. The turn four deuce of diamonds brought a potentially straight draw to the board for a chop but the river was no help for Loew, and he was eliminated.

Pollak Busts Choi and Loeliger; Bubble Bursts

Level 14 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Stanley Choi and Luc Greenwood
Stanley Choi and Luc Greenwood

Linus Loeliger moved all in for 212,000 in the cutoff and Stanley Choi moved all in over the top for 240,000 on the button. Benjamin Pollak squeezed both his cards in the big blind and snap-called.

Linus Loeliger: {K-Spades}{Q-Spades}
Stanley Choi: {A-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}
Benjamin Pollak: {A-Hearts}{A-Spades}

The {9-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{7-Spades} flop brought no help for Loeliger and Choi yet, but Loeliger picked up a massive sweat on the {10-Spades} turn. The {K-Clubs} on the river failed to improve both Loeliger and Choi, and the bubble burst without any hand-for-hand play needed, while Pollak continued his hot run to take a commanding lead.

All remaining nine players will now redraw to the unofficial final table.

Matthias Eibinger Eliminated in 9th Place (€97,090)

Level 14 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Matthias Eibinger
Matthias Eibinger

First to act in the last hand of the level, Matthias Eibinger moved all in for 184,000 and Benjamin Pollak called from a few seats over in late position. Seth Davies on the button moved all in over the top and Pollak asked for a count. The shove of Davies was for 387,000 and Pollak eventually called.

Matthias Eibinger: {2-Spades}{2-Hearts}
Seth Davies: {A-Clubs}{A-Diamonds}
Benjamin Pollak: {7-Clubs}{7-Spades}

This time it wasn't Pollak with the best of it preflop against two opponents, but he picked up a big sweat on the {Q-Spades}{6-Spades}{5-Spades} flop with the spades flush draw. The {J-Clubs} turn was a blank, as was the {3-Clubs} river, and Eibinger was eliminated in 9th place for €97,090.

Jack Salter: {6-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}
Alex Foxen: {A-Clubs}{K-Spades}

The board came {10-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} and Saltet doubled, sending Foxen back to just 25 big blinds.

Thorel Chips Up

Level 15 : 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Mikalai Vaskaboinikau raised to 60,000 and Jan-Eric Schwippert moved all in from the button to claim the pot.

Seth Davies won a small pot against Jack Salter and then Benjamin Pollak raised twice to claim the blinds and big blind antes.

Pollak raised to 55,000 once more and was called by Jean-Noel Thorel, Ryan Riess and Alex Foxen in the blinds. On the {A-Spades}{5-Clubs}{4-Hearts} flop, action checked to Thorel and his bet of 75,000 won the pot, he flashed the {A-Hearts}.

Jan-Eric Schwippert Eliminated in 8th Place (€127,200)

Level 15 : 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Jan-Eric Schwippert
Jan-Eric Schwippert

Ryan Riess on the button made it 60,000 to go and Jan-Eric Schwippert called in the big blind. After a flop of {8-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{5-Clubs}, Schwippert checked and Riess bet 60,000. Schwippert check-raised all in for what appeared to be 350,000, and the instant call of Riess followed.

Jan-Eric Schwippert: {10-Clubs}{4-Clubs}
Ryan Riess: {Q-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}

Riess was ahead with his overpair, but Schwippert had plenty of outs with the flush draw and gutshot. However, it wasn't meant to be for the German, who bricked on the {6-Spades} turn and {5-Spades} river run out. Schwippert was eliminated in 8th place and takes home €127,200.

Salter Loses Some to Thorel

Level 15 : 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Jack Salter raised under the gun and called the three-bet of Jean-Noel Thorel in the big blind for 150,000. On the {K-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} flop, Thorel bet 175,000 and Salter folded.

Then, Thorel raised to 85,000 in the small blind and Salter called in the big blind. Thorel bet the {J-Spades}{10-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} flop and Salter quickly folded.
