Kyle Keranen First Player Eliminated

In the secondary room over at table 16, Kyle Keranen has become the first player to bow out of the Main Event after playing for 40 minutes. With the board reading and the pot already sizable due to earlier action, it was Miguel Gurrea Monton who had a bet of 10,000 in front of him.

Keranen moved all in for 20,700 and received a snap-call from Gurrea.

While Keranen showed his hand instantly on showdown. Gurrea took about five to ten seconds to slowly turn his cards open one by one. Keranen needed a non-pairing diamond, eight or trey if he was to survive but the river was the instead, ending his Main Event in level 1.
