Early Double for Rudoy

Level 11

Mike Watson was in a good position to eliminate Mikhail Rudoy who came into the day with just 153,000. Watson held {j-Hearts}{j-Spades} and was up against the {a-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} of Rudoy.

The flop {10-Hearts}{q-Spades}{8-Spades} kept Watson in the lead, and although the {j-Clubs} turn gave him a set, it improved Rudoy to a straight.

The board failed to pair on the {6-Clubs} river and Rudoy doubled up.

Good Start for Rudoy

Level 11

Jochanan Flink opened to 16,000. Dario Sammartino called, as did Mikhail Rudoy on the button. Flink bet 15,000 on the {a-Spades}{7-Clubs}{a-Clubs} flop and Rudoy was the only caller.

The pair checked the {q-Clubs} turn and the river was the {7-Diamonds}. Flink check-called 25,000 and Rudoy showed {a-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} for a full house.
