Verbraeken Gets a Shove Through

Level 14 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Jorden Verbraeken saw the player in early position open the action with a raise to 6,500 and there was a call by the player in late position. Verbraeken sat on the button when he moved his last 55,500 to the middle. The initial raiser thought about it for a while but he let go of his hand after a minute.

The player in late position got out of the way a lot quicker.

Verbraeken took down the pot without showdown and he has about the same stack as fellow Belgian Guy Goossens right now.

Hormigo Sends Peraldi Home With Quads

Level 14 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Bruno Hormigo
Bruno Hormigo

Bruno Hormigo and Pascal Peraldi were involved in a heads-up pot where Peraldi had 26,000 in front of him already from the big blind. He was put all-in by Bruno Hormigo from the cutoff and Peraldi took his time that the clock was called on him.

He finally called within the 30-second countdown and they opened up. They were flipping as Peraldi played {7-Spades}{7-Hearts} and Hormigo had {a-Spades}{j-Clubs}.

The flop fell {q-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs} and Peraldi needed to hit a seven. He didn't manage to do so on the {2-Hearts} turn and the {a-Hearts} river gave Hormigo quad aces to take it all down.

Hadad Busts Ivkic

Level 13 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Amar Bendib limped from late position and Amine Hadad bumped it up to 5,500 from the next seat over. Marko Ivkic moved his last chips in the middle and Bendib folded. Hadad only had to call for a couple thousand more and they opened up.

Hadad was playing {a-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} and he had Ivkic dominated. Ivkic had {8-Spades}{7-Hearts} and he needed to hit an eight.

The board fell {10-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} and Ivkic was eliminated from the tournament.

Bendib Eliminates Saad Junior

Level 13 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Amar Bendib opened under the gun to 9,000 and it folded to the player on the button. Michel Saad Junior pushed his last 7,500 to the middle and the other players got out of the way.

Amar Bendib: {7-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}
Michel Saad Junior: {j-Clubs}{10-Clubs}

The next hand he picked up {a-Spades}{a-Clubs} and he took the pot down with a three-bet from the big blind after the small blind had raised and gave up.
