Hizem Left Short-Stacked After Torossian Hits Quads

Level 4 : 100/300, 300 ante

A lot of noise was produced at table 21 and it turned out that Nicolas Torossian had hit runner-runner quads with his pocket kings. The board was {2-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{k-Clubs} and Torossian was holding the other two kings. Khaled Hizem was on the other side of the hand and he was left with just 2,400 after hand.

Players pulled out their phones to photograph the hand with the board before it slowly got quiet again.

Thienpont Eliminates Rosi in Setup

Level 3 : 100/200, 200 ante

Nathalie Thienpont saw a player open from the under-the-gun position to 600 and she called from middle position. Massimiliano Rosi three-bet to 2,600 from the cutoff and the initial raiser got out of the way. Thienpont called to see a flop.

Thienpont lead out on the {7-Spades}{j-Spades}{6-Hearts} board with a big bet of 4,000. Rosi moved all in for 15,000 and she called. Rosi had {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs} but Thienpont had flopped top set with {j-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}.

The board ran out with the {10-Spades} turn and the {7-Diamonds} river and Rosi was eliminated from the tournament.
