Theodore McQuilkin raised and picked up a single caller in Darie Vlad from one seat over. On the 
flop, McQuilkin checked and Vlad bet 5,700. McQuilkin opted for a check-raise to 20,200 and Vlad came along.

It was a three-way battle between the button and the blinds. Julien Martini opened to 3,000 and Dominykas Karmazinas three-bet to 14,500 in the small blind, before Ryan Riess cold four-bet all in for a total of 59,600. Martini passed and Karmazinas asked for a count before tank-folding.

PokerStars qualifier Benedikt Brandl has caught likely the most remarkable table line-up on a starting day of the European Poker Tour Main Event as he faces a host of big names including PSPC winner Ramon Colillas, runner-up Julien Martini, WSOP Main Event champion Ryan Riess, two-times WSOP Main Event finalist Antoine Saout, Ludovic Geilich, Dominykas Karmazinas and Aladin Reskallah.
Geilich has the biggest stack of them all so far and 90 minutes remain in the day.
