Welcome to Day 1b of the Main Event in Monte-Carlo

The 2019 PokerStars and Monte-Carlo®Casino European Poker Tour continues today, with the second and final starting flight of the flagship Main Event, which will begin at 12 pm today at The Monte-Carlo Sporting, here in the beautiful Mediterranean Principality of Monaco.

There were 342 entries yesterday and of those, 128 made it through. Players who bag up at the end of the night will join them, and stay in with a chance of taking down the title, trophy and prize money and take their place in the EPT record books in the process.

Who will join the host of big names that have already secured themselves a seat in Day 2? Will anyone be able to dethrone Ludovic Geilich from the top spot? All those questions and more will be answered by the end of the night.

As with Day 1a yesterday, there will be 10 one-hour levels on the schedule, with 20-minute breaks taking place every two hours. There will also be a 75-minute dinner break at the end of Level 6 (around 6:40 pm) and play will conclude around 12:15 am. Everyone who bags at the end will secure themselves a place in Day 2, which takes place on Wednesday 1st May 2019, at 12 pm.
