Dennis Schienagel Eliminated in 10th Place (€14,800)

Level 28 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Dennis Schienagel
Dennis Schienagel

In a three-bet pot between Ermah Cakmak and Dennis Schienagel, the flop came down {j-Spades}{3-Clubs}{2-Clubs}. Cakmak checked and Schienagel simply ripped it in for 1,700,000, more than the size of the pot.

Cakmak gave it a brief moment but called it off to put the German at risk.

Dennis Schienagel: {q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}
Ermah Cakmak: {a-Clubs}{10-Clubs}

Cakmak held the nut flush draw with an overcard and it would be the latter that would do Schienagel in. The {a-Diamonds} turn and {a-Spades} river improved the Frenchman to the winner and made Schienagel the FT bubble.

Morgan Aceto Eliminated in 11th Place (€14,800)

Level 28 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Morgan Aceto
Morgan Aceto

Mario Mosböck raised from middle position and Morgan Aceto peeled a flop from the big blind from an 8 big blind stack. The {k-Spades}{j-Spades}{a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}{7-Spades} board got checked down to the river where Aceto decided to shove his remaining seven bigs in.

Mosböck snapped him off with the {7-Hearts}{7-Clubs} and Aceto, who holds both the Italian and French nationality, showed the inferior {k-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} to end his run in 11th place.

Two Clocks, No Showdown

Level 28 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Stefano Schiano opened on the button and Sylvain Mazza three-bet to 515,000 from the small blind. Schiano took a long time to decide and got the clock called on him. With just one second left, he four-bet shoved it all in for 2,450,000.

This time, it was Mazza needing all a lot of time, but with the seconds ticking away on his clock as well he ultimately decided to lay it down.

Daniel Ghionoiu Eliminated in 12th Place (€13,200)

Level 28 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Daniel Ghionoiu
Daniel Ghionoiu

Shortly after doubling through Yota Mitsui, Daniel Ghionoiu got involved in another pot with his Japanese adversary. After defending his big blind and check-calling the {9-Spades}{2-Hearts}{5-Hearts} flop, Ghionoiu led out for 500,000 on the {6-Hearts} turn, which Mitsui called.

The river was the {j-Diamonds} and Ghionoiu shoved all in for 1,650,000, followed by an instant call from Mitsui.

Ghionoiu showed {6-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} for the turned set of sixes, but Mitsui slapped the {a-Hearts}{8-Hearts} open for the nut flush. He had the Canadian covered and the latter whipped out his camera to capture the board before bowing out in 12th.

Ghionoiu Doubles Through Mitsui

Level 28 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Daniel Ghionoiu
Daniel Ghionoiu

Daniel Ghionoiu raised it up to 220,000 and Yota Mitsui three-bet large from the blinds. Ghionoiu quickly stuck it in for 1,200,000 total and Mitsui called off the few extra chips.

Daniel Ghionoiu: {j-Spades}{j-Diamonds}
Yota Mitsui: {9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}

The best hand held up on a {10-Hearts}{3-Spades}{10-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{a-Clubs} to give the Canadian some breathing room.

Mösbock Climbing on Table 2

Level 28 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

While table 1 has been drawing the attention with flashy all-in-and-a-calls, Mario Mösbock has been steadily making his way up the leaderboard over at table 2. Mösbock just dragged a medium-sized pot off Sylvain Mazza, after taking from the former chip leader earlier as well, to move up to over 5M in chips.

Higgs Can't Shake Romero

Level 28 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

From the big blind, Sam Higgs checked the {a-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} flop to James Romero, who bet 160,000 on the button. Higgs check-raised to 330,000 and Romero called before the {j-Spades} landed on the turn. This time, Higgs fired out a hefty 850,000 and Romero got the clock called on him after several minutes. Before the countdown started, he called the bet.

The {6-Spades} on the river went check/check and Higgs showed {q-Diamonds}{4-Spades} for nothing more than queen-high. Romero tabled {a-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} to move up to 7 million in chips.

Artur Martirosian Eliminated in 13th Place (€13,200)

Level 27 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Artur Martirosian
Artur Martirosian

Daniel Ghionoiu raised to 130,000 from under the gun and Sam Higgs called from the cutoff. Artur Martirosian three-bet shoved 1,220,000 on the button, Ghionoiu folded, and Higgs called after thirty seconds.

Artur Martirosian: {6-Spades}{6-Diamonds}
Sam Higgs: {4-Spades}{4-Diamonds}

Martirosian was miles ahead but trailed Higgs after the {7-Spades}{4-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} flop, accompanied by a "holy f*ck" from Ghionoiu. Neither the {9-Spades} turn nor {8-Clubs} river could turn it back around, ending the Russian's bid in 13th place.

Baptiste Carteau Eliminated in 14th Place (€11,800)

Level 27 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Baptiste Carteau
Baptiste Carteau

Baptiste Carteau shoved all in for around 700,000 and received a call from Emrah Cakmak in the blinds with {a-}{j-}. Carteau held {k-}{k-} but Cakmak found an ace on the flop to send another young French hopeful, the Day 1a chip leader, to the rail in 14th.
