Hormigo Takes it With a Riverbet

Level 8 : 400/800, 800 ante

The board was {k-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{5-Hearts} and four players were involved in a pot. The big blind had checked and Royston Drenthe bet 5,600 from early position in a pot of 9,000. He was called by Bruno Hormigo from late position and by Ludovic Sultan from the button. The player on the big blind got out of the way.

The river was the {a-Clubs} and Drenthe checked now. Hormigo bet 15,000 after thinking it over and Sultan and Drenthe got out of the way quickly.

Davidi Kitai
Davidi Kitai

Davidi Kitai saw a player from early position move all in for 4,200 and he sat in the big blind when all the other players folded to him. He thought about it for a minute before calling.

Kitai showed {k-Spades}{2-Hearts} and he was very happy to see that his opponent opened up {q-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}.

Kitai started talking and he was calling for a deuce. ''Two two two two two two two two two two''.

The flop was {a-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} and Kitai kept on rooting for a deuce. It did land on the turn when the dealer dealt the {2-Clubs}. The river was the {7-Hearts} and Kitai won the pot with his pair of deuces.
