Ghassan Bitar: {a-Clubs}{6-Spades}
Roman Novoselov: {7-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}

Artur Osipov
Artur Osipov

Artur Osipov had been playing with fire and sheer aggression throughout the event so far and kept true to that on Day 3 as well. It vaulted him to more than 1.3 million but all that came to a crushing end just now in a massive pot against Natalia Panchenko and Dmitry Ponomarov.

Panchenko had raised to 35,000 in the last level and was called by Osipov in the cutoff and Ponomarov three-bet the small blind to80,000, both called. Ponomarov led the {8-Clubs}{6-Spades}{2-Hearts} flop for 110,000 and picked up two calls. The {k-Spades} turn was checked and Ponomarov check-folded to a bet of Pamnchenko for 225,000 and the shove of Osipov on the {9-Diamonds} river.

Panchenko called after some consideration and Osipov only had {6-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} for a pair of sixes, Panchenko tabled {9-Hearts}{8-Hearts} for rivered two pair to scoop the biggest pot of the tournament so far.
