Tens Are Good for Kisacikoglu, No Good for Pardo

Level 11 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

At one table, Sam Greenwood opened to 24,000 from under the gun and Steve O'Dwyer shipped all in for 218,000 on the button. Juan Pardo re-shoved all in from the big blind and Greenwood folded.

Pardo turned over {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds} which had O'Dwyer's {9-Hearts}{9-Clubs} pipped by one. However, the flop of {q-Clubs}{j-Spades}{9-Diamonds} gave O'Dwyer the lead with a set of nines. The {6-Clubs} on the turn and the {3-Hearts} on the river changed nothing and O'Dwyer doubled up.

Next door, Orpen Kisacikoglu was all in for 289,000 on the button against Ben Heath in the big blind. Kisacikoglu showed {10-Spades}{10-Hearts} while Heath had the smaller pair with {8-Spades}{8-Clubs}. The board ran out {6-Spades}{3-Spades}{2-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{7-Clubs} and the pocket tens gave Kisacikoglu a double up.
