Wozniak Can't Find a Hold

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Jan Wozniak went all in from the small blind for the last of his chips and was called by Clement Richez in the big blind.

Jan Wozniak: {a-Spades}{j-Spades}
Clement Richez: {q-Hearts}{10-Hearts}

Wozniak was out in front and flopped top pair, top kicker as the dealer fanned out {3-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{7-Spades}. However, it also gave Richez a heart draw to put his number of outs up to 12. The turn came {9-Diamonds}, adding six more straight outs to that figure, and the river {8-Clubs} completed the straight to result in Wozniak's pair of jacks being second best.

Wozniak found himself dry on chips as a result, while Richez added to his stack fortress of a stack that he has amassed throughout the first few levels of Day 2, bringing him over 900,000 at around the midway point in Level 19.

Bicknell Eliminated on the River

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Kristen Bicknell
Kristen Bicknell

Kristen Bicknell shoved in the cutoff for 47,000 and Janosch Hain called on the button. Big blind Vladislav Donchev shoved for 131,000 and Hain called that as well.

Bicknell: {j-Clubs}{9-Clubs}
Hain: {a-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}
Donchev: {7-Spades}{7-Diamonds}

The {q-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{3-Spades} flop pulled Bicknell way in front. The {2-Hearts} turn was a brick but Donchev got there when the {7-Clubs} gave him a winning set on the river.

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Markus Durnegger opened in middle position and called a three-bet from Kayhan Mokri Roshanfekr on the button. Durnegger check-called 37,000 on the {8-Spades}{3-Hearts}{q-Clubs} flop but check-folded to 55,000 more on the {j-Clubs} turn.

Schiffbauer's Eights Cracked for Tournament Life

Level 18 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Oliver Bosch went all in from middle position for 134,000 and Robert Schiffbauer called off his last 67,000 from the hijack just behind. All remaining players folded and the two tabled their hands in preparation for the runout.

Robert Schiffbauer: {8-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}
Oliver Bosch: {a-Clubs}{3-Hearts}

Schiffbauer looked poised for a double his chances were spoiled on the flop {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{4-Clubs}, leaving him in need of hitting one of the two remaining eights in the deck to stay alive. Unfortunately for him, the turn came {10-Clubs} and river {k-Clubs} fell behind it to leave him dry on chips, resulting in the dealer calling for a payout on his behalf.

Unlikely Double for Blom

Level 18 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Viktor Blom
Viktor Blom

Viktor Blom was all in from an early position for 62,000 and action folded to [Removed:102] in the small blind. He shoved to isolate and turned over {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}.

"Nooo," Blom said mournfully, showing {k-Spades}{q-Spades}. "Spades."

He instead got a queen on the {q-Clubs}{6-Spades}{7-Clubs} but was back to needing spades after the {a-Spades} turn. He got one when the {10-Spades} arrived and he snapped a photo of the unlikely runout.

Donchev Finds a Double

Level 18 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Vladislav Donchev was down to his last 43,000 and ripped it in on the button. Yiannis Liperis went all in over the top from the small blind and did not receive a call behind.

Vladislav Donchev: {10-Spades}{10-Hearts}
Yiannis Liperis: {a-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}

Donchev sat calmly as he watched the board run out {3-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{9-Spades}{j-Spades} and Liperis sent the proper amount his way to earn him the double.

Ghassan Doubles Through Da-Silva

Level 18 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Ibrahim Ghassan was all in on what looked to be a four-bet shove from early position for 178,000. Chris Da-Silva was in the tank a couple of seats over after three-betting to 58,000. He splashed in a few chips and turned over {a-Clubs}{2-Clubs} but was behind {k-Clubs}{k-Hearts}.

The {3-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{8-Clubs} brought Da-Silva a few extra outs with a wheel draw but running jacks bricked out for him.

Level 18 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Piotr Wiecek: {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}
Scott Margerseon: {k-Spades}{j-Hearts}

Wiecek was out in front and stayed there as the board ran out {8-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{2-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} to score him the double.
