Liperis Collects Two Barrels

Level 25 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Luigi D'Alterio raised to 80,000 in the cutoff and Yiannis Liperis called him on the button. D'Alterio bet 60,000 on the {a-Spades}{2-Spades}{7-Diamonds} flop and 185,000 on the {3-Spades} turn. Liperis stuck around to see the {7-Hearts} river, which both players checked.

D'Alterio showed {k-Spades}{j-Diamonds} for a missed backdoor flush and Liperis took it with {a-Diamonds}{10-Spades}.

Hain Check-Shoves on Richez

Level 25 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

There was around 180,000 in the middle on a flop of {q-Spades}{2-Clubs}{a-Spades} with action heads up between Janosch Hain in the big blind and Clement Richez, who was under the gun. Hain checked to Richez, who put out a bet of 40,000. Hain called.

The turn was {3-Hearts} and Hain checked again. Richez continued, betting another 150,000. Hain went into the tank for about a minute and then announced a check-raise all in. Richez took about 10 seconds and then sent his cards to the muck.

Reard Eliminates Wyrzykiewicz To Take Tourney To Redraw

Level 25 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Remigiusz Wyrzykiewicz
Remigiusz Wyrzykiewicz

Alexandre Reard opened to 85,000 under the gun and action made its way around to Remi Wyrzykiewicz, who three-bet all in for 820,000 from the cutoff. Reard quickly called once everybody in between folded.

Remi Wyrzykiewicz: {8-Diamonds}{8-Spades}
Alexandre Reard: {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}

Wyrzykiewicz was in a coin flip situation for his tournament life and in need of holding to score the double, but the flop {k-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{4-Clubs} put him behind the eight ball, and the turn {q-Hearts} and river {3-Spades} resulted in his elimination from the tournament in 25th place.

With his elimination, the tournament has now reached 24 players and a full three-table redraw has been conducted. The tournament is also in the process of moving downstairs into the main room, meaning the tournament clock is paused temporarily with 35:46 remaining in Level 24. However, it is not a break, so play will resume as soon as everybody is ready to go.

Stay tuned for information regarding the full three-table redraw.

Liperis Doubles Through Richez

Level 25 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Just before the level change, Clement Richez opened in the cutoff for 60,000 and called the shove of Yiannis Liperis on his left for 560,000.

Richez: {a-Spades}{q-Hearts}
Liperis: {k-Spades}{j-Diamonds}

The {2-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{k-Hearts} flop gave Liperis a big lead, which he didn't give up on the {10-Diamonds} turn or {6-Hearts} river.
