Heinsdorf Wins at Showdown

Level 3 : 100/200, 200 ante

Preflop action saw both Jaroslaw Sikora and Tobias Heinsdorf put 1,600 into the middle from the small blind and cutoff, respectively. The flop came {5-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} and Sikora put out a bet of 1,500, which Heinsdorf called.

Sikora slowed down on the turn {9-Hearts} and checked. Heinsdorf bet 2,700 and Sikora called. Both players then checked the river {6-Hearts} to take the hand to showdown.

Sikora tabled {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs} for ace-king high and Heinsdorf turned over {9-Spades}{6-Spades}, winning the pot with two pair, nines and sixes.

Jorstad Folds the River

Level 4 : 100/300, 300 ante

The board read {k-Hearts}{9-Spades}{8-Clubs}{6-Clubs} and Espen Jorstad had 2,000 in front of him in middle position. There was a similar amount in the pot already as well, but his neighbor Ole Olsen had 5,500 laying in front of him. Jorstad called and the dealer opened up the {10-Hearts} on the river.

Jorstad checked this time and Olsen very quickly bet 6,000 with only 6,600 behind. That was too much for Jorstad and he tanked for a while before sending his cards to the muck.

Zimmerman Finds Help from Greenstein to Double

Level 4 : 100/300, 300 ante

There was around 15,000 in the pot from preflop action between Joshua Zimmerman in the small blind and his Karolis Sereika, who was under the gun. The flop came {8-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} and Zimmerman check-called a bet of 6,600 from Sereika

The turn came {2-Hearts} and Zimmerman checked. Sereika threw out 30,000, more than enough to put Zimmerman all in. Zimmerman made the call.

Joshua Zimmerman: {a-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}
Karolis Sereika: {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs}

Zimmerman's top pair, top kicker was in trouble against his Sereika's cowboys and he knew it. He began to scoot back from his chair, knowing his likely fate was elimination. Fortunately for him, the river {a-Spades} was the prettiest card in the deck and scored him a double.

"Sorry," said Zimmerman, scooting his chair back in and collecting his newly-acquired chips.

Bruschi Check-Raises the Turn

Level 4 : 100/300, 300 ante

A player limped in under the gun and Mohamed [Removed:355] pumped it up to 1,400. He was called by Renan Bruschi in the small blind as well as Evangelos Bechrakis in the big blind, and the limper called as well to take postflop action four ways.

The flop fell {j-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} and everybody checked. The turn was {j-Clubs} and Bruschi checked again. Bechrakis put out a bet of 1,700 and the under-the-gun limper folded to put action onto [Removed:355], who called. Bruschi thought for a few moments and then slid out chips, putting in a check-raise to 6,300. Bechrakis folded and [Removed:355] folded behind, earning him the pot right then and there.
