Klepczarek Puts Guerrero To the Test

Level 7 : 300/600, 600 ante

Luka Drakic opened to 2,300 in the hijack and was called by the cutoff. Michal Klepczarek was next to act on the button and came along as well, as did Jimmy Guerrero in the small blind. The three saw a flop of {6-Spades}{q-Spades}{3-Spades} and action checked to Klepczarek, who bet 3,200. Guerrero check-raised, putting out 6,100, which the dealer corrected to make him put out the minimum amount of 6,400. Action folded back to Klepczarek and he thought for a little before matching the raise.

Action was then heads up to the turn {8-Diamonds} and Guerrero fired out another 7,500. Klepczarek asked to see what he had behind and he moved his arms to display what was around 34,000. Another minute passed by and Klepczarek made the call, bringing the river {8-Clubs} on board.

Guerro bet another 12,500 and after about 40 seconds, Klepczarek announced he was all in. Guerrero went into the tank for nearly two minutes and then sent his cards to the muck.

Nauta on Fire

Level 7 : 300/600, 600 ante
Ruurd Nauta
Ruurd Nauta

Ruurd Nauta has been on fire for the first levels of the day. He has been cruising to a nice stack and eliminated a player in the last hand before the previous break.

Nauta opened from early position to 1,200 and a player from middle position called. The small blind called as well but the big blind decided to three-bet to 6,100 with about 20,000 behind. Nauta went for the four-bet to 13,500 and it folded to the big blind who put it all in. Nauta called and they opened up.

Big blind: {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}
Ruurd Nauta: {10-Spades}{10-Hearts}

The board ran out {9-Spades}{4-Spades}{5-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} and the ten on the turn made Nauta the winner of the hand. His stack rose to about 90,000.

Putz Busts

Level 7 : 300/600, 600 ante

Anatoly Korochenskiy was in the hijack and opened to 1,500. Action folded around to Christopher Putz in the big blind and he went all in over the top. Korochenskiy asked how much and Putz said 3,800. The dealer confirmed and Korochenskiy called.

Christopher Putz: {q-Hearts}{j-Clubs}
Anatoly Korochenskiy: {k-Spades}{j-Hearts}

Putz was in trouble for his tournament life and the situation only got worse as he was drawing dead by the turn on the runout {8-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}, resulting in Korochenskiy earning the pot and the knockout to bring him back to around starting stack.

Shcherbakov Wins With Better Ace

Level 6 : 200/500, 500 ante

Felix Schulze opened to 1,600 from middle position and was called by Roman Shcherbakov in the hijack. Action folded around to the big blind who defended and the three saw the flop fall {a-Hearts}{7-Spades}{j-Clubs}. The big blind checked to Schulze, who made a continuation-bet of 1,200. Shcherbakov "clicked it back" to raise to the minimum value of 2,400, getting a fold from the big blind. Schulze then thought for some time before matching the bet.

Both remaining players checked the turn {5-Diamonds} and Schulze bet 3,100 on the river {7-Hearts}. Shcherbakov quickly announced a call.

Schulze tabled {a-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} for aces up and Shcherbakov showed {a-Clubs}{q-Spades}, with his queen kicker proving the difference to earn him the pot.

Emmanouil Asgoudakis Takes One Down

Level 6 : 200/500, 500 ante

Emmanouil Asgoudakis raised to 1,600 from early position and he was called by Nikita Bochkin from the small blind and Henri Buhler from the big blind.

The flop was {8-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{3-Spades} and it checked to Asgoudakis who continued with a bet of 3,400. He was called by Bochkin but Twitch streamer 'Buehlero' got out of the way.

The turn was the {9-Hearts} and Bochkin checked again and the bet of 5,000 from Asgoudakis was enough to take the pot down.
