The second starting flight which is Day 1b of the PokerStars European Poker Tour Prague Main Event start at noon local time here at the Hilton Prague. The 2018 edition attracted 1,174 entries and with 391 players flocking to Day 1a which surpassed last year’s Day 1a numbers, Day 1b is set to be a busier one.

Pierre Calamusa bagged his second chip lead of the festival in the Czech Republic as he collected 457,000 in chips on Day 1a, staying ahead of players like Stefan Egermann, Roland Chassing, Yehuda Cohen, and Steve O’Dwyer. Defending champion, Paul Michaelis busted on Day 1a but might be back if he hasn’t used his second bullet yet.

Kalidou Sow was the only PokerStars ambassador to survive the day so a bunch more are expected to jump into the field today. Players can enter or reenter right up to the start of Day 2 with a maximum of 2 bullets that can be fired.

Players start with 30,000 in chips. Day 1b has ten levels of 60 minutes each on the planning with a 20-minute break after every two levels and a 75-minute dinner break after Level 6. The PokerNews live reporting team will be on the floor and behind the laptops to bring you all the updates from the Main Event!
