One of the more notable players amidst a sea of Russian players is Israeli player Boris Mondrus. Mondrus beat a field of 2,486 to win €382,750 ($435,705) in the EPT Prague National.
Arriving at his table, there was already a big pot of 6,500 in the middle between him and Uruguayan Jose Loignon. Loignon had checked the 
board to Mondrus who had bet 11,000.
"Big over bet," said Loignon.
"Bluff," said Mondrus gesturing towards the chips.
Eventually Loignon open-folded 
for two pair. "Maybe I got bluffed," he said. "On the river, he maybe has a straight or higher two pair."
