Dmitry Yurasov opened the action, making it 1,200 in middle position. Dmitriy Sokolov was sat in the small blind and moved all in for 14,100. Mikhail Zamyatin was sat on his direct left in the big blind and he paused before going all in over the top. It was enough to convince Yurasov to get out the way and he made an immediate fold.

The ![]()
![]()
flop was already out and there was 4,900 in the middle, with four players still in. Igor Izmailov was in the small blind preflop and he checked, Anatoliy Zyrin checked from the big blind and then Maksim Pisarenko and Roman Peresypkin followed suit who had been in early position preflop.
Izmailov checked again on the
turn and Zyrin put 2,500 over the line. Pisarenko passed, before Peresypkin raised to 7,000. Izmailov got out the way and Zyrin called, taking them heads up to the river.
On the
river, Zyrin lead for 5,000 and Peresypkin upped it to 17,000. Zyrin immediately threw in a chip to signify a call, which prompted Peresypkin to send his cards into the muck. Zyrin continues to climb up in the counts.

Kartik Ved has only just finished playing the final table of the National and has already hopped into the Main Event. He has just won RUB 3,059,000 for his 4th place finish and will be hoping to build on the success he has already achieved during the festival.
Ezequiel Waigel is also in contention after making use of late registration. No doubt, he will be looking to improve on his 53rd place finish in this event last year.
