Martirosian Gets Value; Rolle Doubles

Level 22 : 30,000/60,000, 7,500 ante
Rolle doubles through Pardo
Rolle doubles through Pardo

Artur "mararthur1" Martirosian defended the big blind against Jamie "jamienixon90" Nixon and eventually forced a fold by betting the {k-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{7-Spades}{9-Clubs} river.

One hand later, Martirosian limped the small blind and bet each street against Andrei "ragAAAila19" Boghean. On the {k-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{3-Hearts} flop it was for 60,000, followed by 172,050 on the {a-Spades} turn and 385,392 on the {7-Hearts} river. Three calls of Boghean followed and Martirosian won the pot with {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds} for top two pair.

Over on the other table, the first all-in showdown on the money bubble took place. Juan "Malaka$tyle" Pardo raised to 1.56 million from under the gun, which had all other opponents covered. Benjamin "bencb789" Rolle called all-in for nearly 1.16 million in the small blind.

Benjamin "bencb789" Rolle: {j-Diamonds}{j-Spades}
Juan "Malaka$tyle" Pardo: {a-Spades}{10-Hearts}

Pardo hit one ten on the {10-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{2-Spades} flop but Rolle held throughout the {8-Hearts} turn and {7-Spades} river.

Adams Eliminated Two Off the Money

Level 21 : 25,000/50,000, 6,000 ante
Adams Eliminated by Boghean
Adams Eliminated by Boghean

Timothy "Tim0thee" Adams started the betting action with a button raise to 110,000 and chip leader Andrei "ragAAAila19" Boghean three-bet to 350,000 out of the small blind. Adams then pushed for just over 1.5 million and was quickly called.

Timothy "Tim0thee" Adams: {a-Clubs}{5-Spades}
Andrei "ragAAAila19" Boghean: {j-Spades}{j-Diamonds}

Adams flopped a pair and turned two pair but the {j-Clubs}{6-Spades}{5-Clubs}{a-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} board spelled the end for the Canadian two off the money. All remaining hands for tonight will now be played in hand-for-hand mode on the money bubble.

Bigger Pots for Pardo and Pärssinen

Level 21 : 25,000/50,000, 6,000 ante

Juan "Malaka$tyle" Pardo made it 109,000 to go in the cutoff and fellow Spaniard David "MonkeyBausss" Laka stuck around in the big blind. Laka check-called for 69,750 on the {k-Spades}{8-Spades}{7-Spades} flop and the {5-Clubs} turn was checked through. Laka then bet the {4-Hearts} river for 270,680 and had to reveal a bluff with {10-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} when Pardo called to claim the pot with {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs} for top set on a draw-heavy board.

In the meanwhile over on the other table, Andrei "ragAAAila19" Boghean raised to 180,000 in the small blind and was called by Eelis "EEE27" Pärssinen in the big blind. A first barrel for 261,300 by Boghean was called and the Romanian then check-called 245,000 on the {a-Hearts} turn.

The {2-Diamonds} river was checked and Pärssinen claimed the pot with {a-Clubs}{9-Clubs} versus {k-Hearts}{3-Spades}.

Rudolph Beats Rolle at Showdown

Level 21 : 25,000/50,000, 6,000 ante

Jamie "jamienixon90" Nixon lost a medium-sized pot to Andrei "ragAAAila19" Boghean when he check-folded the {7-Spades}{7-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{a-Clubs} river. However, the Brit got some chips back with a successful three-bet the following hand.

In the meanwhile, Christian "WATnlos" Rudolph tangled with Benjamin "bencb789" Rolle in a bigger pot that grew to more than a million eventually. Rudolph's min-raise from under the gun was called by Rolle on the button, Rudolph then check-called 102,630 on the {9-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{2-Spades} flop and 275,000 on the {2-Hearts} turn.

The {3-Diamonds} river brought no further betting action and Rudolph's {7-Hearts}{6-Hearts} for sevens and deuces was good enough to claim the pot.

Holz Eliminated by Boghean

Level 21 : 25,000/50,000, 6,000 ante
Holz eliminated by ragAAAila19
Holz eliminated by ragAAAila19

First to act, Andrei "ragAAAila19" Boghean min-raised to 100,000 and Fedor "CrownUpGuy" Holz three-bet all-in for 583,844 from the very next seat. A call by Boghean followed and the cards were turned over.

"Fedor "CrownUpGuy" Holz: {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}
Andrei "ragAAAila19" Boghean:

The {q-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} flop was tremendous for Holz who had diamonds covered. However, an unlikely {9-Clubs} turn and {k-Hearts} river runout sent Holz to the rail in an unfortunate fashion.

Rolle Takes Small Pot Off Rudolph

Level 21 : 25,000/50,000, 6,000 ante

Christian "WATnlos" Rudolph made it 100,000 to go and was called by Benjamin "bencb789" Rolle in the small blind, who check-called a bet of 100,000 on the {10-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{4-Hearts} flop. The {q-Hearts} turn was checked through and Rolle bet the {2-Spades} river for 250,000, which shut down Rudolph's ambitions to earn the pot.

Break For the Final 12 Players

Level 21 : 25,000/50,000, 6,000 ante

Fedor "CrownUpGuy" saw his stack cut down in the first few hands of the new level and he headed into the next scheduled five-minute break as the shortest stack. Only 12 players remain and Day 1 will conclude once the nine-handed final table has been set.

Buldygin Eliminated by Rolle

Level 20 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante
Buldygin eliminated by Rolle
Buldygin eliminated by Rolle

The action folded to Vyacheslav "VbV1990" Buldygin on the button and he got the last 15 and a half blinds in only for Benjamin "bencb789" Rolle to reshove with the superior stack in the small blind. Sam "Str8$$$Homey" Greenwood in the big blind got our of the way and the cards were turned over.

Vyacheslav "VbV1990" Buldygin: {j-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}
Benjamin "bencb789" Rolle: {a-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}

Buldygin became an even bigger underdog on the {a-Spades}{q-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} flop and found none of the four remaining kings in the deck on the {5-Diamonds} turn and {10-Spades} river to exit in 13th place.
