PokerStars ambassador Ramon "RamonColillas" Colillas of Spain leads 41 players at the end of Day 1 in Event #32: $5,200 NLHE [8-Max, Event #Main Event], $1.5M Gtd - Trophy Event #17 as part of the European Poker Tour Online on PokerStars. Colillas, who boasts just under $5,800,000 in live tournament earnings, ended the day with a stack of 7,189,617.

Just trailing Colillas are fellow big stacks Bruno "great dant" Volkmann of Brazil (6,958,432), "CrazyLissy" of Russia (6,065,620), Benjamin "BC1989RF" Chalot of Hungary (6,006,705) and Romania's Liviu "0Human0" Ignat (4,589,465).

The three-day Main Event attracted a total of 402 entrants, generating a total prize pool of just over two million to smash the guarantee of $1,500,000. With 48 spots paid, each returning player is guaranteed a minimum payday of $10,982, with $363,641 and an EPT trophy up top for the first-place finisher.

Other grinders who were fortunate enough to survive the 23 20-minute levels of Day 1 include Laszlo "omaha4rollz" Bujtas, Christian "WATnlos" Rudolph, David "MissOracle" Yan, Alexandros "mexican222" Kolonias, Pedro "pvigar" Garagnani, Patrick "pads1161" Leonard, Artur "mararthur1" Martirosian and Andriy "Andre_Hansen" Lyubovetskiy.

Sweden's "WhatIfGod" bagged a stack of 2,713,954 as they look to win another EPT Online Main Event after winning the event in 2020 for a cool $1,019,082.

Another PokerStars ambassador, Benjamin "bencb789" Rolle made it to Day 2, though the same can't be said of fellow ambassadors Fintan "EasyWithAces" Hand, Ben "Spraggy" Spragg and Lex "L. Veldhuis" Veldhuis. Also representing the red spade in this event, Rafael "GM_VALTER" Moraes was the first player to bust in the money for a min-cash of $10,982.

Sam "Str8$$$Homey" Greenwood was eliminated on the money bubble when he got it in good with ace-nine against the ace-four of the Day 1 chip leader, who spiked a four on the turn to seal Greenwood's fate as the bubble boy.

Day 2 will commence on Monday, Dec. 20 at 6:05 p.m. GMT and will play down to a final table of nine. For Day 2 and on, levels will increase from 20 to 30 minutes in duration. The final table will play out on Day 3 at the same start time on Tuesday, Dec. 21.
