Dzivielevski Hits River to Double

Level 12 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

The board read {4-Clubs}{a-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} with a sizable pot already in the middle, there was a bet and a snap-call as the cards were turned over and Yuri Dzivielevski was at risk holding the {7-Clubs}{6-Spades} for a pair and a straight draw vs the {8-Hearts}{8-Spades} set of Niklas Astedt.

The river saved Dzivielevski as the {5-Diamonds} came off to give him the straight and take a chunk out of the big stack.

Mateos Chops With Song

Level 12 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

In a battle hijack versus cutoff, the flop showed {a-Spades}{j-Hearts}{7-Hearts} and Adrian Mateos opted to check. Daewoong Song made it 32,000 to go and Mateos tossed in calling chips. Both opted to check the {7-Clubs} on the turn and Mateos bet for 26,000 on the {8-Hearts} river and Song called.

Mateos rolled over the {a-Hearts}{q-Clubs} and chopped, as Song's {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds} was equally strong.

Yokosawa Eliminated by Song

Level 12 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

In a battle of the blinds, Masato Yokosawa piled his last 62,000 in from the small blind and was instantly called by Daewoong Song in the big blind.

Masato Yokosawa: {a-Diamonds}{9-Spades}
Daewoong Song: {k-Clubs}{10-Hearts}

Yokosawa was ahead heading into the showdown but that all changed when Song took the lead on the {k-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{5-Spades} flop. Nothing changed on the {3-Diamonds} turn and the {8-Hearts} river ended Yokosawa's run.

Astedt Puts Dzivielevski to the Test

Level 12 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Action was on the flop as it read {8-Clubs}{2-Spades}{3-Spades}. From the hijack, Yuri Dzivielevski check-raised a bet of 13,000 from Niklas Astedt to 32,000. Astedt called from the button.

The turn was the {10-Hearts}. Dzivielevski bet again, this time for 60,000. Astedt called again.

The river came the {a-Spades}. Dzivielevski checked and Astedt stuck a stack of big chips into the middle to force Dzivielevski all in. Dzivielevski thought for the entire time allotment before he folded as Astedt collected more to his growing stack.

Dimov Doubles Danchev and Garagnani

Level 12 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Dimitar Danchev was all-in for the final 41,000 and was looked up by fellow countryman Ognyan Dimov.

Dimitar Danchev: {7-Clubs}{7-Hearts}
Ognyan Dimov: {q-Hearts}{q-Spades}

The {7-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{a-Clubs}{9-Spades} board improved Danchev to a set and he doubled.

Shortly after, Dimov also called the shove by Pedro Garagnani for 74,000 to set up the next all-in showdown.

Pedro Garagnani: {a-Clubs}{a-Hearts}
Ognyan Dimov: {4-Clubs}{4-Hearts}

On a board of {a-Spades}{j-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{j-Spades}{9-Hearts}, Garagnani locked up the double on the turn already with aces full.

In the meanwhile, Patrick Leonard was eliminated on another table to reduce the field to the final 22 contenders.

Stakelis Finishes Off Chidwick

Level 12 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Stephen Chidwick was seen getting up from the table as his short stack had been exhausted by Audrius Stakelis.

Chidwick's losing hand of {a-Clubs}{q-Hearts} was showing as the loser against the {7-Spades}{6-Spades} of Stakelis as the board had missed the range of Chidwick as it ran out {10-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} to pair Stakelis's six and send Chidwick to the rail.

Conan Flipped Out by Astedt

Level 11 : 2,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Arthur Conan had arrived to his seat a few minutes late and the first hand he played actively was an open shove for 75,000 from under the gun. Niklas Astedt jammed over the top from the small blind and Patrick Leonard surrendered from the big blind.

Arthur Conan: {7-Hearts}{7-Clubs}
Niklas Astedt: {q-Hearts}{10-Hearts}

The {k-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{2-Spades} runout failed to keep Conan in contention and reduced the field to the final 24 players. They are balanced across three tables and the next redraw will be for the final two tables.

Nemeth Doubles Through Chidwick

Level 11 : 2,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Andras Nemeth raised to 11,000 from under the gun and Sam Grafton called in the small blind. Stephen Chidwick then pushed from the big blind and Nemeth called all-in.

"How much is it?" Grafton asked and Nemeth immediately replied 97,000, while Chidwick's stack size was counted as 140,000. Grafton shrugged and sent his cards into the muck.

Andras Nemeth: {a-Hearts}{j-Spades}
Stephen Chidwick: {a-Spades}{10-Diamonds}

The kicker played on the {8-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{k-Clubs}{9-Spades} board and Grafton shook his head.

"Four five off?" Nemeth asked and Alexandros Theologis instantly chimed in with a "no, it was suited."

Song and Mateos Force Folds From Adams

Level 11 : 2,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Action was picked up on the flop as the board read {10-Clubs}{6-Spades}{k-Diamonds}. Adrian Mateos bet 11,000 from the cutoff and Timothy Adams called from under the gun.

The turn came the {3-Hearts}. Mateos continued with a bet of 38,000. Adams folded his hand.

A couple of hands later, the flop read {2-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}. From the cutoff, Daewoong Song bet 10,000. Timothy Adams was in the big blinds and raised to 30,000. Song three-bet to 62,000 after using a time extension.

Adams exhausted 25 seconds on the clock before relenting his hand into the muck as Song collected the pot thanks to the three-bet.
