Brewer Chips Back Up With Aggression

Level 7 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

In a three-bet pot to the {k-Spades}{q-Spades}{2-Hearts} flop, Teun Mulder bet 15,000 in the small blind and received a call from Chris Brewer on the button. The {7-Diamonds} followed on the turn and Mulder now checked. That prompted a bet worth 25,000 by Brewer and it was enough to claim the pot uncontested.

Shortly after, Brewer three-bet to 16,500 and Adrian Mateos as the initial raiser came along. The Spaniard check-called once for 10,000 on the {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{10-Clubs} flop and they checked the {a-Spades} on the turn. After the {7-Spades} river, Mateos checked once more and Brewer's bet worth 32,000 won the pot without showdown once more.

Kanit Rivers an Ace

Level 7 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Three players were in a hand where the flop read {4-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{5-Spades}. From the cutoff, Mustapha Kanit bet 5,500, Laszlo Bujtas called from the small blind and Sirzat Hissou folded the big blind.

The turn was the {2-Spades}. Both players checked it to the river which came the {a-Hearts}. Kanit bet 16,000. Bujtas called after almost using up the 30 seconds.

Kanit showed the {a-Spades}{j-Diamonds} for the rivered pair of aces to win the pot.

Muehloecker Doesn't "Gamble" Against Mateos

Level 7 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Juan Pardo raised to 5,000 and was called by Thomas Muehloecker on the button. Adrian Mateos then pushed out of the small blind and Pardo quickly let go.

"How much is it?" Muehloecker inquired and the shove was deemed to be for 101,500 total. After some 20 seconds of consideration, Muehloecker opted to fold.

"No gamble?!" Mateos grinned before raking in the pot.

Mulder Raises Pardo

Level 7 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

In a blind-on-blind battle, the flop read {k-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}. From the big blind Juan Pardo bet 5,500. Teun Mulder raised to 18,000 over the bet.

Pardo took about 20 seconds before he folded as Mulder carved just a few chips from the big stack.

Pardo Takes the Lead for Now

Level 7 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

While the start into this Single-Day High Roller for Juan Pardo was rather rocky, the last hour has been quite successful. The Spaniard just added some more chips without showdown after applying maximum pressure.

Pardo raised to 5,000 from under the gun and Stephen Chidwick three-bet to 15,000. After eyeballing the stack of his opponent, Pardo moved all-in and Chidwick instantly folded.

Mateos Gets Some Value From Chidwick

Level 6 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Picking up the action on the {k-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{7-Spades} flop, Adrian Mateos in the big blind check-called a bet worth 5,000 by Stephen Chidwick on the button. The {8-Spades} turn was checked and Mateos bet the {4-Hearts} river for 14,000. Chidwick called and Mateos earned the pot with {9-Hearts}{8-Clubs} for two pair.

Chidwick Doubles Through Brewer

Stephen Chidwick
Stephen Chidwick

Stephen Chidwick had re-entered a few minutes ago and tangled with Chris Brewer in a preflop all-in contest. The Brit was the player at risk for 98,000 as the following cards were revealed.

Stephen Chidwick: {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts}
Chris Brewer: {k-Spades}{k-Clubs}

The {10-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} flop gave Chidwick a flush draw to go with his overcard and he instantly got there with the {8-Hearts} turn, rendering the {a-Diamonds} river meaningless.

Hissou Pips Kanit With Superior Pair

Level 6 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Sirzat Hissou three-bet to 15,000 on the button and was called by the initial raiser Mustapha Kanit. The {7-Spades}{7-Clubs}{3-Hearts} flop saw Kanit check-call a bet worth 7,000 and both then checked the {4-Diamonds} on the turn. Kanit bet the {7-Diamonds} river for 20,000 and Hissou called.

In the showdown, Kanit tabled the {8-Spades}{8-Clubs} but Hissou held the superior pair in {9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} to claim the pot with sevens full of nines.

Petrangelo Gets One Through

Level 6 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

The board read {4-Spades}{2-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{2-Spades} on the turn. From the hijack, Orpen Kisacikoglu bet 35,000 and Nick Petrangelo called.

The river was the {10-Spades}. Kisacikoglu checked over to Petrangelo who was on the button. He took two timebanks before moving 47,500 forward which was his entire stack aside from one 500 chip.

Kisacikoglu thought long before eventually finding the fold as he had to surrender four timebank cards as well as the pot.
