Chidwick Eliminated by Pardo

Level 10 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Stephen Chidwick
Stephen Chidwick

Juan Pardo raised it up on the button and Stephen Chidwick then three-bet to 30,000 in the big blind, which the Spaniard called. On the {10-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{7-Spades} flop, Chidwick continued for 20,000 and received a call by Pardo.

They headed to the {5-Diamonds} turn on which Chidwick slowed down and checked, then called a bet worth 11,500 by Pardo. He also checked the {3-Clubs} on the river with around 74,000 behind and Pardo moved all-in with the covering stack. Without using any time bank extensions, Chidwick eventually called and his {9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} were no good as Pardo revealed {a-Clubs}{10-Spades} for the superior two pair.

Chris Brewer raised to 6,500 and was called by Nick Petrangelo. Ole Schemion then pushed for 58,000 and Brewer went over the top, earning a call from Petrangelo with the bigger stack.

Ole Schemion: {8-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}
Chris Brewer: {a-Spades}{q-Diamonds}
Nick Petrangelo: {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs}

The pocket pair remained ahead throughout the {10-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{j-Diamonds} board and Schemion tripled up.

Nemeth Chips Up Without Showdown

Level 9 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Tom Vogelsang had chipped up earlier and then raised to 6,000 from the under-the-gun position. Andras Nemeth flat-called on the button and Teun Mulder also came along in the small blind. As the flop fell {8-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}, Mulder bet 6,000 and Vogelsang folded while Nemeth called.

The {a-Diamonds} turn was checked to Nemeth, who bet 18,000 to win the pot without any resistance.

Level 9 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

The flop came {6-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{7-Hearts}. From the button, Mustapha Kanit bet 7,500, Laszlo Bujtas called from the big blind and Orpen Kisacikoglu folded from early position.

The turn was the {4-Diamonds}. Kanit bet 21,000 and Bujtas called.

The river came the {j-Diamonds}. Both players checked. Bujtas showed the {9-Hearts}{5-Clubs} for a pair of nines but was out-kicked as Kanit flipped over the {a-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}.

Vogelsang Wins Small Three-Way Pot

Level 9 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Tom Vogelsang made it 7,500 to go in the cutoff and was called by Stephen Chidwick on the button.

"Stevie, how much do you play?" Adrian Mateos asked while in the big blind as he could barely see the stack of Chidwick on the other side of the table. Once the Brit replied with around 140,000, Mateos also came along.

The three players checked the {9-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} flop and the {2-Spades} turn was also checked by Mateos. Vogelsang bet 27,500 and Chidwick quickly folded. Mateos needed a few seconds more but came to the same conclusion as well.
