David Gassian
David Gassian

Action came in on the river as the board read four hearts {k-Spades}{j-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{2-Hearts}. Nils Pudel was facing a decision for his entire stack from the small blind.

Big stack David Gassian was in early position and had put Pudel to the test with the river shove.

After several moments of consideration, Pudel pitched his cards into the muck. Gassian showed the {a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} for no heart as Pudel shook his head.

Gassian Flops Set For Big Pot

Level 10 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Action was three-way on a flop reading {5-Spades}{3-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}. Thomas Fuchs has raised an initial bet of 4,500 from David Gassian to 12,000. Liece El Barrak moved all in. Gassian then moved in for more behind him. Fuchs took a few moments before reluctantly folding.

El Barrak was well behind with the {a-Diamonds}{3-Spades} while Gassian showed the {9-}{9-Clubs} top set. El Barrak stood up but the turn provided some slight hope as the {a-Hearts} came down but the river was the {2-Diamonds} to bust him and confirm the big pot for Gassian.
