Martin Jacobson

Martin Jacobson was all in preflop from the big blind and in a good spot holding the {a-Diamonds}{a-Spades} up against the {10-Hearts}{9-Hearts} of Vincenzo Schiavottiello.

The flop created some sweat for Jacobson as it came {4-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} tp pair the ten. The turn was the {6-Spades} and the river the {8-Diamonds} to secure the double for Jacobson.

Sitbon Grows Lead

Level 25 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Julien Sitbon opened to 80,000 from under the gun and Ghassan Bitar three-bet to 240,000 from the button before putting on a pair of dark sunglasses.

"This is how you want to play against the chip leader?!" asked Sitbon.

"These are my stealing glasses," replied Bitar.

Sitbon called to see a flop of {5-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{5-Spades}, which checked through. Sitbon then led out for 350,000 on the {10-Spades} turn and Bitar went deep in the tank before folding as a player at the table called the clock.

"I thought you had a big hand!" exclaimed Sitbon as he raked in the pot.

Lefferts Gets Unlucky

Level 26 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Tanner Lefferts
Tanner Lefferts

Tanner Lefferts moved all in for his last 595,000 chips, and found a call from Jon Clark.

Tanner Lefferts: {a-Spades}{q-Hearts}
Jon Clark: {a-Hearts}{j-Spades}

Lefferts was well in front to begin the hand, but the {j-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{6-Spades} flop turned the tables putting Clark ahead. The {7-Hearts} turn and {7-Spades} river was no help, leaving Lefferts heading to the payout desk.

Beresford Sends Bigot Packing

Level 26 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Fabrice Bigot
Fabrice Bigot

In a three-way pot on a flop of {2-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{9-Diamonds}, Ghassan Bitar and Fabrice Bigot both checked and Conor Beresford bet 150,000 from the button. Bitar called and Bigot check-jammed a stack of about 750,000. Beresford re-shoved a bigger stack and Bitar let out an "oh, wow" before folding.

Fabrice Bigot: {q-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}
Conor Beresford: {a-Diamonds}{9-Spades}

Beresford was ahead with top pair while his opponent had plenty of hope with a flush draw and middle pair. The board finished out {7-Clubs}{a-Clubs} to improve Beresford to aces up for Bigot to be eliminated ahead of the final three tables.
