Level 17 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Daewoong Song opened to 12,000 from middle position and was reraised by Jessica Pilkington, sat immediately to his left.

Schemion Takes From Heath

Level 17 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Ole Schemion check-called a bet of 26,000 from Ben Heath after the {q-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{2-Hearts} flop, before checking again on the {2-Diamonds} turn.

Heath announced a bet of 108,000 with Schemion using a time card before making the call to see the {q-Clubs} river. Schemion then led out for 190,000 and Heath quickly mucked his cards.

Level 17 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Carl Probsting
Carl Probsting

With roughly 100,000 in the pot on a {j-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{4-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{3-Hearts} completed board, Harry Lodge was in the small blind and was facing an all-in bet by Carl Probsting in the big blind for 114,000. Lodge got a count and used a time extension before he ultimately called.

Probsting could only show {10-Clubs}{8-Clubs}, while Lodge tabled {k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} to take the pot with his king kicker as the table reacted in astonishment at the tough call, and Probsting made his exit.

On a double paired board of {10-Spades}{4-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}, Anthony Desai fired out a river bet of 27,000.

Table chip leader, David Docherty, thought for a second before making the call.

Desai showed {a-Spades}{j-Diamonds} for two pair, ace high and Docherty tossed his hand into the muck.

Romero at Risk, Flops Quads to Double

Level 17 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Jordi Romero
Jordi Romero

Yiannis Liperis opened to 12,000 and Jordi Romero reraised from the next seat to 98,000 and was all in.

Liperis thought for a second and made the call and the players tabled their cards with Romero at risk.

Jordi Romero: {9-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}
Yiannis Liperis: {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts}

Romero let out a loud tap on the table when the flop came {9-Clubs}{9-Spades}{3-Hearts}, flopping quad nines and securing his full double up. The {5-Hearts}{3-Spades} completed the board but had no impact as Romero stacked his new found wealth.

Docherty Correctly Calls River Overbet With Fourth Pair

Level 17 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
David Docherty
David Docherty

In a heads-up battle between the blinds, Harry Lodge led out for 8,000 on the flop of {5-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} and David Docherty called.

The turn brought the {a-Hearts} and Lodge put out an overbet of 38,000 with slightly less than that in the pot. Docherty again called.

The {6-Clubs} on the river completed the board and Lodge put out yet another overbet for 145,000, which sent Docherty deep into the tank. After using through three time extensions, Docherty made the call.

Lodge sheepishly turned over a stone bluff with {9-Clubs}{4-Hearts} for nine-high, leading Docherty to turn over {6-Hearts}{4-Spades} for a rivered bottom pair after missing his straight draw.
