Little One for Le; Bigger One for Bernstein

Level 2 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

Tan Le opened to 500 from under the gun and was called by Leonidas Kostagiolas and Bhavin Khatri from the blinds.

Le continued for 1,200 on the {q-Spades}{8-Clubs}{5-Clubs} flop and both of the blinds folded.

On an adjacent table, Yasuhiro Waki was involved in another pot which had swelled to 4,500. Waki was up against Michael Bernstein, who is also on his second bullet like Waki.

The {7-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{7-Spades}{5-Clubs} board was on display and both players checked the river. Bernstein had the {a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} and scooped the pot as Waki only had queen-high.

Wheel for Hikosaka

Level 2 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

Tibor Nagygyorgy opened to 400 from the hijack and was called by Emad Zarghami and Keisuke Hikosaka from the blinds.

The {7-Spades}{3-Spades}{2-Diamonds} flop checked through to the {4-Hearts} turn. Zarghami bet 400 and only Hikosaka called. The {a-Hearts} river prompted Zarghami to fire for 1,100. Hikosaka toyed with his chips and looked like he was going to raise. In the end, he just opted to call and Zarghami instantly mucked his cards. Hikosaka flashed the {5-Clubs} to show he had the wheel straight.

Waki Continues Ascent

Level 2 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

Bruno Fitoussi opened to 500 from under the gun and was called by James Gold, Alejandro Lococo and Simon Maglianella. The ever active Yasuhiro Waki three-bet to 4,600 from the button. Only Fitoussi called.

Waki sized up to 9,700 on the {k-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{6-Clubs} flop and Fitoussi quickly got out of the way.

Rezaei Turns Two Pair Into a Bluff

Level 2 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

A completed board of {10-Hearts}{8-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{j-Clubs} was spread across the felt with around 8,000 in the pot already. Ori Miller led out with a bet of 4,000 and Daniel Rezaei ripped all in for just over 20,000.

Miller gave it some thought but eventually flicked in a chip to call. Rezaei tabled {j-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} for two pair but Miller held {10-Spades}{9-Spades} for a straight to eliminate Rezaei in the early going.

Waki Takes from Lococo

Level 1 : Blinds 100/100, 100 ante

Action was caught on the {j-Spades}{6-Spades}{7-Hearts} flop with 3,800 in the middle. Yasuhiro Waki, who was the day's first KO, fired for 800 from the small blind and Bruno Fitoussi called from middle position. PokerStars Ambassador Alejandro Lococo then made it 3,000 from the cutoff. Only Waki called.

The {4-Spades} turn checked through to the {6-Clubs} river. Waki bet 4,500 and Lococo seemed to make a reluctant call. Waki had rivered trips with his {10-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} which prompted Lococo to concede the pot.

Grime Rivers Two Pair

Level 1 : Blinds 100/100, 100 ante

There was a raise to 300 from under the gun and he was called by Imad Derwiche on the button and Barry Grime in the small blind. The flop came {10-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} and Grime led out with a bet of 600. Both of his opponents called and the {5-Hearts} landed on the turn.

Grime fired out another bet of 1,200 this time and only Derwiche stuck around to see the {q-Hearts} on the river. Grime tossed in a final bet of 2,300 and Derwiche quickly laid his hand down. Grime flashed the {q-Clubs}{10-Spades} for two pair as he was awarded the pot.
