Welcome to another event at the 2022 PokerStars European Poker Tour London, which is hosted at the fantastic Hilton Park Lane. Today's action sees Day 1 of the EPT Platinum Pass Mystery Bounty play out, which begins at 3 p.m. local time.

This is the third Mystery Bounty Event at EPT London, and follows the £10,200 Mystery Bounty and the £440 UKIPT Mystery Bounty Cup, which were won by Juan Pardo (£80,280) and Henrik Veldhoem (£39,716) respectively.

While those events were thrilling in their own right, there's an extra shine on this edition as a huge $30,000 Platinum Pass to the PokerStars Players Championship is up for grabs when the mystery bounties come into play on Day 2.

The plan of action for Day 1 is to play twelve 40-minute levels, with breaks taking place every two hours. Entrants begin with 30,000 starting stack and will need to bag and tag a stack to make it through to the second stage. Blinds will begin at 100/100 and a 100 big blind ante will be in play from the get go.

All players who survive Day 1 will receive a mystery bounty token and will be able to claim any prizes after 3 p.m. on Day 2. Possible prizes could be as followed, but are not limited to:

£100,000£10,000
£50,000£5,000
£30,000£1,000
£15,000£500

Late registration is open until the start of Day 2, so players are able to bypass the first day of play should they wish to.

Alex Peffly and Michael Bernstein had their starting stacks committed preflop, with Bernstein narrowly covered.

Both players re-raised each other from under the gun and the small blind until they were all-in.

Peffly had {k-Diamonds}{k-Hearts} while his opponent held the {a-Clubs}{k-Spades}. Bernstein flopped a Broadway straight draw but would ultimately head to the rail following the {q-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{2-Spades}{7-Clubs} runout.
