Seiji Draws Closer to Greenwood

Level 15 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Sam Greenwood opened to 24,000 for Pablo Brito Silva to call in the big blind. The {9-Spades}{3-Hearts}{2-Clubs} flop was checked by the Brazilian, who then called a bet worth 16,000. On the {a-Diamonds} turn, Brito Silva checked again and Greenwood's bet of 45,000 won the pot uncontested.

Greenwood raised to 24,000 once more as Rodrigo Seiji defended the big blind. Seiji checked the {k-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} flop, Greenwood bet 17,000 and Seiji called. There was no betting action on the {2-Spades} turn and Seiji let his shot clock run down to five seconds before he bet 160,000.

Greenwood verified the bet size and sent the cards into the muck.

Sam Greenwood raised it up in the cutoff and then called the short stack shove of Ben Heath for 75,000 in the big blind.

Ben Heath: {a-Clubs}{j-Spades}
Sam Greenwood: {k-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}

Holz Felted by Kulev

Level 14 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Fedor Holz
Fedor Holz

In a preflop contest, Fedor Holz was the player at risk on the button for some 17 blinds and dominated by Alex Kulev in the hijack-

Fedor Holz: {10-Hearts}{10-Spades}
Alex Kulev: {q-Spades}{q-Hearts}

The dominated pair gained no equity throughout the {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} board and that spelled the end for the German poker pro turned entrepreneur.
