Koleno Gets There to Take Chip Lead

Level 27 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Joining the action in a three bet pot with Chung Cheung in the small blind and Stanislav Koleno in the cutoff.

There was around 700,000 in the pot heading to a flop of {a-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{5-Hearts} and Cheung bet 300,000 before Koleno moved all in for around 2,400,000 covering Cheung. Cheung went deep into the tank for several minutes before the clock was called.

Cheung stood up as he had 30 seconds to make a decision. With a few seconds left Cheung called for his tournament life.

Chung Cheung: {a-Spades}{10-Clubs}
Stanislav Koleno: {9-Clubs}{8-Clubs}

Cheung had top pair but Koleno had a flush draw and a gutshot. However Cheung would be drawing dead as the turn came the {7-Hearts} to give Koleno the straight. The river was irrelevant as it came the {q-Spades} to eliminate Cheung from the tournament and put Koleno into the chip lead.
