Jessica Pilkington

Antonio Romeo opened the action to 600 from early position and was called by Pascal Frezza and Markus Sturz from the cutoff and button respectively. Jessica Pilkington, who was in the big blind, also matched the preflop raise.

Romeo continued for 800 on the {a-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{2-Clubs} flop and was called by Sturz and Pilkington. Action then checked to Sturz on the {5-Clubs} turn who bet 2,200. Pilkington quickly raised to 6,000 which put off Romeo while Sturz tagged along.

Pilkington, with 18,500 behind, led out for 15,000. Romeo then jammed to put Pilkington to the test but was snap-called.

Pilkington rolled over her {k-Clubs}{q-Clubs} for a king-high flush and bested her opponent's {10-Clubs}{6-Clubs}.

On an adjacent table is Andrea Ricci who has also had a fruitful start to the day. The Italian was spotted dragging in a small pot to bring his chip count to around 57,000.

Tzidon Commits Stack Preflop

Level 1 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

Guy Tzidon limped in from early position before Cyril Mira made it 800 from middle position. Woojong Ha, Thomas Channell and Nuri Hadioğlu called from the button and blinds respectively.

Tzidon then tried to thin the field by raising to 3,500. Action folded to Ha who then put made it 9,500 which was enough to get rid of the blinds. Tzidon wasn't finished and committed his 30,000 stack and was snap-called by Ha.

Guy Tzidon: {8-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}
Woojong Ha: {q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}

Ha was in great shape for a Level 1 double up and that's what happened as his pocket queens held out following the {k-Hearts}{4-Spades}{5-Hearts}{a-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} runout.

Ben Spragg

PokerStars Team Online Pro Benjamin "Spraggy" Spragg was just seen clawing in a mountain of chips.

He informed PokerNews that he had doubled up in the first hand he had played.

In a three-bet pot on the {9-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{4-} flop, his opponent bet 3,000. Spragg, who had {9-Spades}{8-Spades} made the call and did the same for 4,000 on the {7-} turn.

Spragg made a full house on the {9-} river, and shoved when checked to. His opponent ended up calling off his stack with {q-}{q-} and quickly left the room.
