Thanarattrakul Gets the Lot

Level 7 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Kannapong Thanarattrakul
Kannapong Thanarattrakul

Tomas Jozonis opened to 2,200 from early position, Leonard Maue called on the button, Kannapong Thanarattrakul called from the small blind and Alexandre Reard from the big blind.

The four players all checked the flop of {6-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{j-Hearts} and the turn came the {9-Spades}. Thanarattrakul checked, as did Reard and Jozonis, but Maue decided to fire 6,800 into the middle. Thanarattrakul called and Reard and Jozonis threw their hands into the muck.

Thanarattrakul checked the {3-Clubs} river and Maue bet out 12,000 only for Thanarattrakul to check-raise to 100,000. Maue tanked for a few minutes using up his time bank cards whilst deciding for his tournament life and eventually flicked in a single chip to call.

Maue showed {j-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} for two pair but it was no match for the nut straight of Thanarattrakul who held {k-Spades}{q-Spades}.
