Stan Doubles Through El Yaacoubi

Level 5 : Blinds 200/500, 500 ante

In a post flop all-in contest, Samuiel Stan was all-in for 16,500 with the {8-Hearts}{8-Clubs} with the flop showing {7-Spades}{2-Clubs}{2-Hearts}. A move by Rachid El Yaacoubi with the {a-Clubs}{5-Clubs} had gone wrong and the {8-Diamonds} turn locked up the double for Stan to make the {k-Diamonds} river a formality.

Christophe Pommier opened from early position to 1,200 and the action folded around to Iliodoros Kamatakis who called in the big blind.

On a flop of {8-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{2-Clubs}, Kamatakis check-called the 1,600 continuation bet from Pommier and the two players went to the turn.

The dealer fanned the {9-Diamonds} turn and both players checked to the {q-Hearts} river.

Kamatakis led out for 2,300 and Pommier mucked his hand quietly as Kamatakis stacked the chips.

Madar No More After Losing Flip to Maequis

Level 5 : Blinds 200/500, 500 ante

Guy Madar raised and Daniel Maequis three-bet to 3,000 which Nicanor Sula cold-called. Madar then jammed for 11,800 and Maequis called while Sula folded and exposed the cards to the dealer, who mentioned "six five".

Guy Madar: {q-Clubs}{q-Hearts}
Daniel Maequis: {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}

The board ran out {a-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{10-Diamonds} and that spelled the end for Madar.

"What did you fold?" a curious Maequis asked and then added "six five?" A very serious Sula replied "no no, I folded five six".

According to Thomas Quaade on the button, Alexander Norden had defended the big blind in three-way action and check-called a bet on the {9-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{3-Clubs} flop. Norden then check-raised the {2-Spades} turn from 5,000 to 12,000 and the preflop aggressor Georgios Alexandropoulos stuck around.

Norden jammed the {8-Spades} river for 20,900 and his opponent went deep into the tank before he called.

Norden revealed the {6-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} for a straight and Alexandropoulos briefly showed his {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} for an overpair to take a large blow to his stack.
