Simon Lofberg

Parker Talbot {q-Clubs}{6-Clubs} opened to 90,000 on the button. Only Simon Lofberg {5-Spades}{4-Spades} made the call in the small blind.

The flop came {5-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{8-Hearts}. Both players checked the flop.

The turn came the {9-Clubs}, adding a flush draw to Talbot's gutshot. Lofberg bet 80,000, and Talbot came along with a call.

The river brought the {3-Hearts}, missing all of Talbot's outs. Lofberg slowed down with a check. Talbot considered his options, and decided to bluff for 220,000. Lofberg thought about 30 seconds and made the call with third pair to take it down.

Bigot Takes Piles From Pilhofer With Flopped Boat

Level 25 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Fabrice Bigot
Fabrice Bigot

Istvan Pilhofer {9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} opened to 90,000 from middle position and found two callers, Fabrice Bigot {4-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} and Parker Talbot {k-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}.

The flop was a dream for Bigot when the {2-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{4-Spades} hit to give him a full house. Pilhofer bet 55,000, and Bigot called. Talbot got out of the way.

On the {q-Clubs} turn, Bigot checked again. Pilhofer bet 210,000. Bigot sprung the trap by check-raising to 500,000, sending Pilhofer into deep thought. Eventually, he called with about pot behind.

The river came the {7-Diamonds}. With his flopped full house, Bigot went for 450,000. Pilhofer went deep into the tank. After a minute, he did make the big call.

Bigot took it down, leaving Pilhofer with 19 big blinds, and chipping up big himself.

"I had fours a few hands ago, it came ace, queen, seven," said Pilhofer. "Nice hand."

Paulius Vaitiekunas
Paulius Vaitiekunas

Over on the outer table, Luigi D'Alterio raised to 80,000 in the cutoff. Paulius Vaitiekunas three-bet to 525,000 on the button with 225,000 behind and the blinds got out of the way. D'Alterio then pushed all-in and Vaitiekunas immediately grabbed into the time banks while starting at the tournament info screen.

Since the tournament was on a pay jump, Vaitiekunas used his time banks and both started some small talk. "I don't have a pair, do you?" the Lithuanian inquired and D'Alterio nodded.

"You will see in 45 seconds," Vaitiekunas added and then called all-in as promised.

Paulius Vaitiekunas: {a-Clubs}{q-Spades}
Luigi D'Alterio: {7-Hearts}{7-Clubs}

The {j-Clubs}{7-Spades}{5-Spades} flop left Vaitiekunas on the ropes and it was all over on the {j-Spades} turn as D'Alterio had improved to an unbeatable full house. A meaningless {3-Diamonds} on the river sent Vaitiekunas to the payout desk in order to collect €43,400 for the efforts.
