Talbot Gets Big Double Through Lofberg

Level 25 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Parker Talbot
Parker Talbot

Parker Talbot {q-Spades}{q-Hearts} opened to 80,000 from early position. On the button, Simon Lofberg {9-Spades}{9-Clubs} three-bet to 200,000. Back on Talbot, he moved all in for 1,500,000. Lofberg called quickly to head to a runout with the PokerStars Ambassador well in the lead.

The flop was a good one for Talbot when the {3-Spades}{10-Hearts}{q-Clubs} hit the board. His set turned into a boat on the {10-Spades} and {8-Hearts} river to lock up the double.

Rui Milhomens Eliminated in 17th Place (€43,400)

Level 25 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Rui Milhomens
Rui Milhomens

Rui Milhomens raised to 80,000 in the hijack and Jordan Saccucci three-bet to 250,000 out of the big blind. Milhomens just called and the flop came {q-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{8-Clubs}.

Saccucci checked and Milhomens tossed in a bet of 150,000 which Saccucci called. The turn was the {5-Clubs} and Saccucci checked again. Milhomens splashed in a bet of 350,000 but Saccucci stuck around for the {a-Diamonds} on the river.

Saccucci used a time bank before shoving all in for just over 1,700,000. Milhomens instantly called off his stack of 1,230,000. Saccucci turned over {a-Spades}{a-Hearts} for a set of aces while Milhomens was left with {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds} for a set of queens.

The final 16 players will now redraw to the final two tables of the tournament.

Another Deep Run for Saout - Can He Go All The Way?

Antoine Saout
Antoine Saout

Frenchman Antoine Saout is no stranger to deep runs on the European Poker Tour, and even finished 34th at EPT Prague earlier this year.

His deepest run came over six years ago at the EPT Monte Carlo Grand Final, making the final table and finishing seventh for €128,340 — can he surpass that here?

Timothy Adams Eliminated in 18th Place (€36,150)

Level 25 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Timothy Adams
Timothy Adams

Coming back from the break, Timothy Adams was the shortest stack with just 290,000 and raised to 285,000 in the cutoff while keeping a single chip behind. Javier Gomez Zapatero splashed in a raise to 500,000 with the new black chips in play while on the button and Adams called all-in when the action was back on him.

Timothy Adams: {q-Hearts}{10-Spades}
Javier Gomez Zapatero: {j-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}

The one overcard for Adams failed to get there on a {k-Clubs}{3-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{3-Clubs} board and he had to settle for 18th place, which comes with a payday of €36,150.
