Obara Powers Through Saout

Antoine Saout opened to 240,000 on the button with the {8-Spades}{8-Hearts} and Jun Obara three-bet to 980,000 out of the big blind with the {a-Hearts}{6-Spades}. The initial raiser called and that led them to the {q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} flop. Obara continued for 230,000 into a pot of more than 2 million and Saout folded the superior hand.

Talbot Gets Very Little Action With Aces

Parker Talbot opened to 240,000 from the button with {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}. Only Istvan Pilhofer made the call in the big blind with {k-Clubs}{8-Spades}.

The flop was {j-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{7-Spades}, missing Pilhofer completely. Talbot continued for 200,000 and Pilhofer folded immediately.

Obara Picks Up Chips From D'Alterio

Jun Obara opened to 240,000 from the cutoff. In the small blind, Luigi D'Alterio three-bet to 750,000 with {k-Hearts}{j-Spades}. Obara called in position.

The flop appeared {4-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{4-Hearts}. D'Alterio bet 325,000, and Obara made the call after flopping top pair.

The turn brought out the {3-Hearts}, adding a flush draw for Obara. D'Alterio bet 875,000. Obara checked his cards, and moved all in for 2,125,000. D'Alterio folded quickly.

Saccucci Tries to Bluff Catch

Antoine Saout opened to 255,000 with {a-Spades}{j-Diamonds}. Jordan Saccucci called with {3-Hearts}{2-Hearts} in the big blind.

Action checked through on the {5-Clubs}{6-Spades}{9-Spades} flop. It also checked on the {a-Clubs} turn when Saout made top pair.

The river gave Saccucci a pair on the {2-Diamonds} river. Saccucci checked again. Saout bet 400,000.

"I'm gonna give the same speech, I think I want to see your hand. There are a lot of hands you could have here," said Saccucci. "This is a donation, it might be a donation," and he made the call. "Show me your king-queen," and he called.

Saout showed top pair and took it down.

Obara Makes a Move at the Wrong Time

Jordan Saccucci opened to 250,000 in the cutoff with {q-Spades}{10-Clubs} and was called by Antoine Saout in the big blind with {8-Diamonds}{7-Spades}. On a {10-Spades}{6-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} flop, Saout checked with his gutshot and let go when Saccucci fired a bet of 280,000.

Soon after that, Saout made it 255,000 to go with {3-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} on the button. He was called by Jun Obara in the big blind with the {7-Diamonds}{5-Spades} as the {6-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{3-Spades} flop gave Saout a full house. Obara checked and then check-raised from 155,000 to 480,000. Saout then clicked it back to 940,000 and Obara used one time bank to then four-bet to 1.485,000.

"What are you guys doing over here?" Istvan Pilhofer inquired in table chat while Parker Talbot had his jaw drop to the floor.

Saccucci Beats Saout in Showdown

Antoine Saout opened to 255,000 with the {j-Clubs}{10-Spades} in the cutoff and was called by chip leader Jordan Saccucci in the big blind holding {q-Spades}{9-Clubs}. On the {k-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} flop, Saccucci opted to check-call for 275,000 and the {5-Clubs} followed on the turn.

Both checked and did so again on the {2-Hearts} river for Saccucci to win the pot.

Talbot Gets a Move Through Against Saccucci

Jun Obara opened to 240,000 in the cutoff with the {k-Hearts}{4-Clubs} and Jordan Saccucci called on the button with {6-Spades}{6-Diamonds}, while Parker Talbot just flat-called in the big blind with {a-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}. The {q-Clubs}{5-Spades}{2-Clubs} flop was checked to Saccucci and he bet 205,000.

Talbot check-raised to 450,000 and Obara folded while Saccucci came along. Both headed to the {k-Clubs} turn on which they checked to the {3-Clubs} on the river. Talbot bet 1,000,000 with just 75,000 behind and Saccucci folded the best hand on a four-flush board.

Saccucci Picks off the River Bluff

The turn gave a pair to Saccucci when the {7-Clubs} hit. Action still checked through.

The river landed the {10-Diamonds}. Saccucci led for 120,000. Pilhofer raised it to 625,000.

"Let's see your hand, my friend," and Saccucci called to catch Pilhofer bluffing.

On a {10-Clubs}{4-Spades}{3-Spades} flop, it checked to the initial raiser and Saccucci bet 425,000. D'Alterio quickly folded while Pilhofer stuck around. with a call.

After the {a-Diamonds} turn, Pilhofer checked once more and Saccucci bet 600,000 to take down the pot despite stating "ugly card" in table chat.
