Korzinin Catches Rubiralta's Triple-Barrel Bluff

Level 3 : Blinds 100/300, 300 ante

Gerard Rubiralta opened to 1,100 from early position and Vladimir Korzinin defended his big blind.

The flop came {j-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{3-Spades} and Rubiralta continued for 1,500. Korzinin called.

On the {2-Hearts} turn, Rubiralta fired again, this time for a 1.5x pot bet of 9,000. After some consideration, Korzinin called.

The {4-Hearts} completed the board and Korzinin lead out for 6,000 with 15,900. Rubiralta took a minute before moving all in. Korzinin, who was covered by Rubiralta, took about 45 seconds before making the call and showing {j-Spades}{10-Diamonds} for top two pair.

Rubiralta could only show {k-Clubs}{9-Clubs} for a missed straight draw and king-high and Korzinin would receive a full double.

Gottlieb Gets Big Value on River

Level 4 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

On a multi-way turn of {6-Hearts}{q-Spades}{7-Clubs}{3-Hearts}, small blind Gonzalo Gottlieb checked to Michael Brinkenhoff, who then bet 3,500.
Mark Roovers in the cutoff made the call, but then Gottlieb check-raised to 9,500 and was called by both players.

The river paired the board with the {q-Diamonds} and Gottlieb shoved all in for 19,400 and was called fairly quickly by Brinkenhoff followed by a hasty fold from Roovers.

Gottlieb turned up {4-Hearts}{5-Clubs} for a turned straight while Brinkenhoff tabled {k-Hearts}{q-Clubs} for just trip queens.

"Wow, nice hand, sir," Brinkenhoff told Gottlieb as the huge pot was pushed his way, which made him one of the biggest stacks in the tournament.

Level 4 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

With around 30,500 in the middle with the board reading {k-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{k-Hearts}, Samuel Ju checked from early position over to Alejandro Romero, who put in his final 9,500 chips.

Ju took nearly 90 seconds before electing to lay his hand down and allow Romero to move up to about 40,000 chips.

Steve O'Dwyer
Steve O'Dwyer

Till Berninger opened to 1,000 from the hijack and Steve O'Dwyer three-bet to 2,800 from the button. Action folded back around to Berninger who four-bet virtually all in for 11,000 of his 17,300 total. O'Dwyer went over the top and Berninger called.

Till Berninger: {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}
Steve O'Dwyer: {a-Hearts}{q-Spades}

O'Dwyer was absolutely crushed as he ran ace-queen into aces. Although the flop came queen-high, O'Dwyer failed to improve and Berninger enjoyed the double up to just over starting stack.

Aces Good on Scary Board

Level 5 : Blinds 200/500, 500 ante

On a flop of {j-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{j-Clubs}, Luc van der Beek in the hijack bet 3,600 after the action was checked to him and found one call from Tobias Peters in middle position.

The turn was the {9-Clubs} to pair the board and this time Peters led out for 4,600, which van der Beek called.

The river was the {3-Hearts} and both players checked, then Van der Beek tabled {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs} and Peters immediately tried to muck, but players asked to see it so it was flipped to show {6-Clubs}{6-Hearts} for six-high.

Margolin Rivers Full House to Eliminate Restrepo

Level 5 : Blinds 200/500, 500 ante

On a completed board of {6-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}, Hernan Restrepo in the small blind checked to Timur Margolin in the big blind, who then pit out a bet of 30,000 to put Restrepo all in.

Restrepo went deep into the tank for this decision, and eventually emerged to make the call, putting himself at risk.

Margolin then tabled {j-Clubs}{j-Spades} for a rivered full house while Restrepo grudgingly turned over {10-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} for just two pair.

"Ahhh nice hand, gg's boys," Restrepo sighed as he stood up and made his exit while Margolin was pushed the large pot to boost himself into the top of the chip counts.
