Orpaz Talks Badziakouski Into Calling

Level 4 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Tom Orpaz raised to 4,500 in the cutoff and Mikita Badziakouski defended his big blind.

The flop came {q-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{j-Spades} and Badziakouski checked. Orpaz then bet 5,000. "You must hit something on that board," Orpaz said to Badziakouski as he considered the decision.

"Okay, good price," Badziakouski replied as he called.

The turn was the {k-Hearts}. "Still a good price," Orpaz said as he bet another 18,000. Badziakouski again called.

Badziakouski led out for 25,000 on the {j-Clubs} river before Orpaz came back with a raise to 70,000.

"Not a good price anymore," Badziakouski said as he went into the tank for a moment before throwing in the chips to call.

Orpaz showed only the {a-Hearts}. Badziakouski then turned over the {k-Clubs} and tried to take the pot before being informed he had to show both cards. Badziakouski protested that Orpaz had only shown the one card, but he eventually revealed the {4-Hearts}.
