Heath Takes Out Davies

Level 16 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Seth Davies was all in for around 850,000 from the big blind and up against button Ben Heath.

Seth Davies: {7-Spades}{7-Diamonds}
Ben Heath: {a-Clubs}{q-Spades}

Heath shot into the lead on the {q-Hearts}{k-Hearts}{8-Hearts} flop, making a pair of queens, and Davies didn't catch any miracles on the {8-Spades}{4-Diamonds} runout and headed for the rail.

Hecklen Heads For The Exit

Level 16 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

The action was relayed by the table after the fact. Henrik Hecklen was all in and at risk for his last 400,000 and called by Nick Petrangelo.

Henrik Hecklen: {4-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}
Nick Petrangelo: {a-Clubs}{q-Hearts}

It was a classic flip situation, but when the board ran out {a-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{7-Spades}{k-Spades}, it was the pair of aces for Petrangelo that eliminated Hecklen close to the final table.

Petrangelo Trips Up Paque

Level 16 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Nick Petrangelo raised to 60,000 under the gun and was called by Kevin Paque in the small blind.

The flop came {7-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} and Paque checked over to Petrangelo, who bet 45,000. Paque called and both players checked the {k-Clubs} on the turn.

The river came the {7-Hearts} and Paque led out for 275,000. Petrangelo paused for a moment before calling. Paque showed {a-Spades}{j-Hearts} for two pair, aces and sevens, but Petrangelo had rivered trips with {10-Spades}{7-Spades} to take the pot.

Paque Bets Big on the River

Level 17 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Kevin Paque raised to 85,000 on the button and was called by Nick Petrangelo in the big blind.

Both players checked the {9-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{8-Hearts} flop. The turn came the {3-Spades} and Petrangelo led out for 350,000.

Paque called as the river came the {9-Spades}. Petrangelo slowed down and checked, and Paque slid forward a tower of green 25,000 chips for a bet of around 500,000. Petrangelo snap-folded.

Seidel Traps Paque

Level 17 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

The action was picked up in a pot of roughly 600,000 on a board of {q-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{10-Hearts}. Erik Seidel checked from the big blind and Kevin Paque bet 140,000, which Seidel called.

On the {6-Diamonds} river Seidel checked again, and after some thought, Paque checked back. Seidel quickly tabled {q-Spades}{j-Diamonds} for a straight and Paque tossed his cards in the muck, sending the pot to Seidel.
