Watson Outraces Neymar for Another Double

Level 11 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Mike Watson
Mike Watson

Neymar opened to 25,000 from early position before Mike Watson shoved again in the cutoff, this time for 260,000. Neymar asked for a count and cut out the chips before calling.

Mike Watson: {j-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}
Neymar: {a-Spades}{q-Diamonds}

Neymar didn't get any help on the {2-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{k-Spades} board, while the {j-Spades} on the river improved Watson to a full house and another double up.

Heath Wins Massive Pot; Lefrancois Eliminated

Level 11 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Ben Heath
Ben Heath

Ben Heath opened the action from early position and was called by David Peters on the button, Pascal Lefrancois in the small blind and Pedro Garagnani in the big blind.

The flop came {k-Spades}{10-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}, Lefrancois and Garagnani checked to Heath who continued for 23,000. Peters got out of the way and Lefrancois and Garagnani came along.

On the {4-Spades} turn the blinds checked again and Heath sized up to 108,000. Lefrancois took a moment before moving all in for roughly 400,000. Garagnani folded and Heath rechecked his cards before making the snap-call.

Lefrancois rolled over {q-Spades}{9-Spades} for a straight and flush draw and Heath revealed {k-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} for top two pair. The river peeled off the {10-Spades}, which at first looked good for Lefrancois, but made Heath a full-house and sent the Canadian to the rail.

Watson Stays Alive

Level 11 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Paul Phua raised to 20,000 from the hijack and was called by Timothy Adams and Neymar. In the big blind, Mike Watson shoved for 107,000 and only Phua called.

Mike Watson: {a-Clubs}{j-Spades}
Paul Phua: {k-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}

The {3-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{j-Hearts} flop gave Phua a pair of kings and the lead, but Watson spiked the {a-Spades} on the turn to make two pair. The river came the {7-Spades} and Watson doubled up.

"I might have wanted some overcalls after all that," Watson said as he dragged in the pot.

Hecklen Doubles Again in Massive Cooler

Level 11 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Henrik Hecklen
Henrik Hecklen

Shortly after hitting a miracle two-outer on the river to stay alive, Henrik Hecklen was all in again for 370,000 and up against Kent Staahle.

Henrik Hecklen: {a-Clubs}{a-Spades}
Kent Staahle: {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds}

There would be no miracles for Staahle as the board came {9-Spades}{8-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} to keep Hecklen's aces in the lead. After coming back from the break with 123,000, Hecklen is now above 700,000 just 10 minutes into the level.

Hecklen Leaves Nashar Steaming

Level 11 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Henrik Hecklen was all in for his last 123,000 from the button and up against Hassan Nashar in early position.

Henrik Hecklen: {j-Clubs}{j-Spades}
Hassan Nashar: {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs}

The {a-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{9-Spades}{5-Clubs} board was safe for Nashar, but Hecklen spiked the {j-Diamonds} on the river to stay alive. Nashar slammed his chips on the table and jumped out of his seat.

"No way. No way. No way," he kept repeating as Hecklen took most of his chips.

Left with less than 30,000, Nashar was eliminated a few hands later.

Martirosian Saved By a Misclick

Level 10 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Timothy Adams raised to 16,000 from under the gun and was called by Neymar in early position. Artur Martirosian, in the hijack, three-bet to 40,000.

Paul Phua in the big blind then moved all in for 220,000 as Adams and Neymar quickly folded. Martirosian, though, gave it some thought before also tossing his cards in the muck.

"Misclick," Adams asked Martirosian.

"I meant to make it 65,000," Martirosian replied.

"You saved yourself," Adams added.

Conan Hits The Rail

Level 10 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Arthur Conan
Arthur Conan

After losing a few pots back-to-back, Arthur Conan became short and was all in for his last roughly 100,000 and called by Mikalai Vaskaboinikau.

Arthur Conan: {a-Spades}{4-Diamonds}
Mikalai Vaskaboinikau: {a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}

Conan was dominated by the better kicker of Vaskaboinikau and when the board ran out {q-Clubs}{7-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{6-Hearts}, it was the end of the road for Conan as the ace-ten high for Vaskaboinikau held up.
