Testori Doubles Near the Bubble

Level 16 : 2,000/5,000, 5,000 ante
Victor Salinier
Victor Salinier

Victor Salinier raised to 10,000 in the cutoff and Davide Testori pushed all in for his last 38,500 from the small blind. Salinier asked for a count and then called to put Testori at risk.

Davide Testori: {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}
Victor Salinier: {k-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}

The flop came {9-Spades}{8-Spades}{2-Hearts} and Salinier picked up a pair to give Testori a sweat. The {3-Diamonds} and {j-Diamonds} runout did not improve Salinier as he sent over a double up to Testori.

Labat Gets Paid Off

Level 16 : 2,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

With over 60,000 chips in the middle, Antoine Labat and Lucas Scafini were heads-up. The board read {10-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{2-Spades}{a-Hearts} and Scafini checked-called a bet of 45,000 from Labat.

The river brought the {j-Spades} and Scafini checked again. Labat thought for a minute before pushing out a bet of 60,000. Scafini took his own time before flicking in a chip to call. Labat flipped over {a-Spades}{k-Clubs} for top pair with the best kicker and Scafini was forced to pay him off.

Fabrice Maltez raised it up to 12,000 from the hijack and Domenico Paparo shipped all in for 86,000 in the small blind. The action folded back to Maltez who gave it some thought before calling.

Domenico Paparo: {10-Spades}{10-Hearts}
Fabrice Maltez: {9-Spades}{9-Clubs}

Paparo was at risk but held the superior pocket pair. The board ran out {j-Clubs}{8-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{10-Clubs} and Paparo improved to a set of tens to double up through Maltez.

Regonaschi Catches Vauquelin Bluffing

Level 15 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Three players went to the flop of {9-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{7-Spades} and it was Laurent Vauquelin who led out with a bet of 6,000 from the small blind. Marco Regonaschi called in early position as did the player on his left.

The {7-Clubs} paired the board on the turn and Vauquelin fired out another bet of 13,000. Regonaschi was the only caller this time and the {4-Spades} hit the river. Vauquelin counted out a bet of 27,000 and Regonaschi snapped him off.

Vauquelin turned over {4-Hearts}{3-Hearts} for a rivered pair of fours but Regonaschi tabled {a-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} for a pair of nines.

Decamps Scores a Double KO

Level 15 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Florian Decamps raised to 8,000 from the cutoff and Nikolay Arzumanyan just called on the button. Maarten Wigboldus was down to just 19,000 in the big blind and ripped all in. Decamps also shoved all in and Arzumanyan quickly called off the last of his 65,000 chips.

Nikolay Arzumanyan: {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}
Maarten Wigboldus: {k-Hearts}{9-Hearts}
Florian Decamps: {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts}

The flop came {j-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} and Decamps vaulted to the lead with three jacks. The {10-Diamonds} on the turn gave Wigboldus a straight draw but the {3-Spades} bricked out on the river, eliminating both of the short stacks.

Pollet Runs Into Quads

Level 14 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Chakib M'hiri raised it up from under the gun and Christophe Pollet pushed all in for his last 26,500 in the hijack. The action folded back to M'hiri who quickly called.

Christophe Pollet: {k-Hearts}{q-Clubs}
Chakib M'hiri: {7-Hearts}{7-Clubs}

The flop came {j-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{5-Hearts} and M'hiri was still in the lead with his pair of sevens. The {7-Spades} on the turn locked up the pot for M'hiri but he continued to improve with the {7-Diamonds} on the river for good measure.
