Bono Doubles Through Pihela Jr

Level 18 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Farid Jattin in the small blind bet the {8-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} flop for 20,000 and Alan Bono then moved all-in for 136,000. Igor Pihela Jr moved all-in over the top and Jattin folded.

Alan Bono: {a-Spades}{8-Hearts}
Igor Pihela Jr: {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}

The {a-Clubs} turn further improved Bono to a full house and Pihela Jr now needed an ace to chop. Instead, the {8-Spades} fell on the river for Bono to make quads and double in style.

Garberg Turns a Set to Bust Hansen

Level 18 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Sindre Hansen open-shoved for 108,000 and [Removed:388] called from the next seat over in the cutoff. Markus Garberg three-bet shoved to isolate and Benzerfa got out of the way. Action was heads-up and Hansen was at risk.

Sindre Hansen: {a-Clubs}{6-Clubs}
Markus Garberg: {j-Hearts}{j-Spades}

The board ran out {k-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} and the turned jack gave Garberg a set to send Hansen to the rail.

"I was glad to see the jack," Benzerfa said about his fold.

Nyman Ousted by One-Outer on River

Level 18 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Kristen Nyman opened on the button and Braz Borges jammed in the small blind. The big blind folded and Nyman called for her stack of approximately 150,000.

Kristen Nyman: {a-Spades}{10-Spades}
Braz Borges: {8-Hearts}{8-Clubs}

The {j-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{2-Spades} flop vaulted Nyman ahead, and the {3-Spades} turn also gave her a flush draw. Nyman just needed to fade the eight of diamonds to secure the double, but unfortunately for her, the {8-Diamonds} indeed spiked the river to give Borges the one out he needed while Nyman made her way to the payout desk.

Cannistra Eliminated by Lukash

Level 18 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Dario Cannistra open-jammed for the last 53,000 from under the gun and Maxime Colom called from one seat over. Ruslan Lukash then three-bet jammed to isolate out of the small blind and Colom folded.

Dario Cannistra: {a-Spades}{7-Spades}
Ruslan Lukash: {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}

The Italian already waved goodbye on the {k-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{2-Hearts} flop and it was all over on the {k-Hearts} turn, which made the {10-Diamonds} river a formality.

Peralta Leads the Pack With Massive Stack

Level 18 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

The table of Eugenio Peralta is the next to break and the Italian may need a dozen racks to move all of his chips after he dragged in yet another big pot.

Three ways to the {j-Spades}{6-Hearts}{3-Clubs} flop, Ruslan Lukash checked and Maxime Chilaud bet 20,000. Peralta called and Lukash then check-raised to 57,000 out of the big blind. Chilaud got out of the way while Peralta called. They headed to the {q-Diamonds} turn on which Lukash bet 87,000 and Peralta called.

On the {10-Clubs} river, Lukash checked and Peralta bet 200,000 to force a fold.

D'Anselmo Busts Vergoni, Doubles Through Minassian

Level 18 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

A small crowd gathered around Table 6 and Giammarco Vergoni was gathering his things while wishing the table luck as the board showed {k-Clubs}{9-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{4-Spades}.

Vergoni had gotten his small stack in with {7-Diamonds}{5-Spades}, but the nines and sevens weren't good enough to beat the {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds} of Nicola D'anselmo, who had also shoved for around 125,000. Jean-Paul Minassian had called both players and had them covered, but his {a-Diamonds}{j-Spades} wasn't good enough to score the double knockout.

D'anselmo picked up the pot to bring his chip stack back to good health while Minassian was left to look for a way back up.

Mokri Battles With Gicovanu

Level 18 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

In a three-bet pot to the {9-Clubs}{9-Spades}{7-Spades} flop, Marius Gicovanu continued for 38,000 and was called by Kayhan Mokri. The {2-Spades} turn slowed down Gicovanu and he checked. Mokri bet 54,000 and that won the pot right there as both players held nearly even stacks around half a million. Their table broke right after as both headed different ways.

Level 18 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

[Removed:520]: {a-Clubs}{5-Hearts}
Simone Demasi: {a-Spades}{q-Spades}

The board ran out {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{3-Spades} and [Removed:524] made his way to the payout desk.

Forestiero Finds Aces for a Double

Level 18 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Roberto Forestiero got it in for around 75,000 and Jacob Amsellem was the one to put him at risk. Once Forestiero turned over his cards, Amsellem was reluctant to show, which drew the ire of another player.

"If you're both in just show!" said the frustrated table mate.

Amsellem finally turned them over and had a lot of work to do.

Roberto Forestiero: {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}
Jacob Amsellem: {4-Hearts}{4-Clubs}

The board ran out {6-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} and the aces held to double through Amsellem.

The discussion about the slow flip continued as Forestiero dragged the pot.

"If you want drama, I'll take you out on the town, but if you're both in just turn them over," the frustrated opponent said as Amsellem did his best to ignore the conversation.
