In a loaded pot to the 
river, Ermanno Di Nicola bet 11,000 into a pot of more than two times of that while in the small blind. Tamon Nakamura was in the tank in the big blind and eventually settled on the call by flicking in the required chips.
"Good call," Di Nicola said and tapped the table to reveal his 
for a bluff. Nakamura had also missed the board with his 
but the kicker played in his favour.
On the tail end of a heads-up pot involving Jaime Cervantes and Rafael Moraes, the board showed 
. Cervantes had checked and Moraes then bet 9,500. The reluctant call by the American followed and the PokerStars ambassador rolled over the 
for a pair of tens in order to win the pot.
Sandro Pitzanti got his last 17,500 in and Karim Abdelmoumene was the one to put him at risk.

with no help for Pitzanti and he was eliminated from the tournament by Abdelmoumene, who moves above the 200,000 mark with the pot.
Bennani Chakib in the cutoff called a raise to 2,500 by Vahe Ter-Khachatryan for Michael Rodrigues to jam for around 25,500 on the button. The initial raiser went all-in over the top and Chakib folded.

The flop left Rodrigues in desperate shape and it was all over on the 
turn, which made the

Claudio Di Giacomo raised to 2,500 on the button and Alexandru Alman called in the small blind. Henry Strasser in the big blind was interested but folded as the duo headed to the 
flop. Alman now led for 2,500 to receive a call and did so again for 5,500 on the 
turn. Di Giacomo called once more but then faced a bet worth 8,500 on the river.
The Italian tanked for a while but eventually folded.
Di Giacomo is no longer the biggest stack on the table as Boris Kuzmanovic has taken over that role.
Action was heads-up with 9,000 in the pot and 
on the board when Nicolas Julien shoved while facing a 6,800 bet from Pedro Marques on the button.
Marques was covered and had just over 18,000 remaining as he went into the tank. He ultimately tossed his hand in the muck to give the pot to Julien, who moved above the 100,000 mark in the late stages of Day 1b.
Jakob Wojtas three-bet out of the small blind to force out Jason Wheeler in the big blind and he then called the four-bet shove by the initial raiser Simon Roboh for 20,700.

Throughout a board of 
, the chips trickled in between Dimitri Joubert and Aliaksandr Hirs with the former betting the river for 12,500. Hirs then pushed all-in with the slightly superior stack and Joubert called it off.
The Belorussian tabled the 
for jacks full and Joubert flashed pocket queens. Both stacks were counted and Joubert was covered to hit the rail in the final hand before the break.
