Death By Quads As Bubble Bursts
Level 17
: Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Ricardo Manquant was in a heads-up pot against Gustavo Dias on a flop of 8♠6♦K♥.
Manquant check-jammed a stack of around 45,000 after facing a flop bet and Dias called with a bigger stack to put Manquant at risk on the stone bubble.
Ricardo Manquant: K♣Q♣
Gustavo Dias: 6♥6♣
Manquant had top pair but was drawing virtually dead against the set of Dias, who improved to quads as the board ran out A♦6♠ as Manquant was painfully eliminated on the money bubble.
