EPT Barcelona

The €1,100 Estrellas Poker Tour Main Event is back again today, after 76 players progressed from Day 1a and Day 1b, making it to Day 2 and the money. With 508 total entries in the first two flights yesterday, they're set for more intense action today at Casino Barcelona.

It all kicks off today at 12 p.m. local time at PokerStars European Poker Tour (EPT) Barcelona, when Day 1c begins. As with Day 1a, players start with 30,000 chips, with 40-minute levels and play continuing until 15% of the field remains. Day 1d will begin at 6 p.m. local time and is structured with 30-minute levels.

Spaniard Alex Baena leads the way so far, chipping up to 559,000 by the end of play. Two Fins were his closest competition, with Mathias Siljander (who came in tenth in this tournament last year) and Dennis Holmstrom bagging 544,000 and 491,000, respectively.
